If the crashes started after version 9.5, here's the same version 0.9.6 without images for testing; most likely, the problem is caused by the images.
P.S. Everything runs perfectly for me, both on 0.9.5 and 0.9.6; my monitor resolution is 1440x990 (although the image is slightly cropped at the bottom during loading... I'm too lazy to fix it, and it's not a priority).
