The first annual offline tournament "Best of the best".

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. The tournament is held once a year, using the map that took 1st place on our website as a result of the contest for
the best map www.heroesworld.ru for Heroes 3. It should also be noted that all maps submitted as part of this contest
were evaluated and tested by several judges, so flaws and bugs in the winning map have been minimized! Still, if any flaws are suddenly found in this map, please report them immediately to the email address [email protected],
or [email protected]. After all, only those who do nothing make no mistakes, and judges as well as organizers are no exception.

2. To participate in the first offline tournament "Best of the best", you must register on our website
www.heroesworld.ru, and also make a request in this thread.

3. The tournament is played on the Russian version of The Shadow of Death with patch 3.2, or TE! (If you do not have these versions of Heroes, it is permissible to play on versions:
Armageddon's Blade, Restoration of Erathia). The save will be generated on the same

4. ATTENTION! In this tournament, saves will be generated for two difficulty levels, i.e., normal and the hardest!
Therefore, ANY player who cares about Heroes 3 can win this tournament according to the difficulty level they choose themselves! THERE WILL BE EXACTLY 6 WINNERS!!! (there will be 3 winners in each nomination: for first place, second place, and third place respectively)

5. Each player can play on any of the 2 proposed saves, but must send only one winning save for one of the nominations! Also keep in mind that if you completed the tournament on easy or the hardest difficulty level, sent a save, and later decided to improve your result on the same difficulty level, the save you send again will not be reconsidered!)
Beginners are recommended to play on normal difficulty, and veterans on unreal!

6. The submitted save must contain the tournament number (1), the participant's number in the application table, the abbreviation (BB - Best of the best) and the player's Nick.

7. Along with the submitted save, you must provide a description of the final step (battle with a hero, battle for a castle, capturing an artifact, defeating the last monster) after which victory or scenario completion occurs.

8. The submitted save should have only one conquering hero who performs the final action (others should simply be dismissed).

9. Cheating programs, codes, as well as additional programs used to change the game structure are FORBIDDEN!

10. Using known game bugs is FORBIDDEN!

11. The result will be evaluated primarily by minimum time.
If several players have the same completion time, the best will be determined by the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING EQUIPPED ARTIFACTS; if a favorite is still not determined, then by the amount of mercury.

12. The Grail can only be dug up when the puzzle map is completely open (this will not happen in this tournament).

13. Send the save to the email address [email protected]

14. Applications are accepted until DECEMBER 30, 2006.

15. In case a player is suspected of cheating or other malicious intent while completing the map, it is necessary to make a save every game day.
In such a case (detection of cheating), the player will be required to send additional saves and provide a description of the walkthrough to the tournament organizer to determine whether the play was unfair or honest.
The result of a player who played dishonestly will be nullified, and their further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also
affect their reputation negatively.

16. Discussion of the tournament during its progress is FORBIDDEN!!!
(Players who violate this rule automatically exclude themselves from playing the tournament; their results will not be counted and will be annulled).

17. The tournament starts on November 15 and lasts until December 30 (inclusive!). Results will be announced on January 1, 2007.

Dear tournament participants!

Since in the Dungeon, and in the castles of black dragons and titans there is an opportunity to build an artifact trader, any artifact obtained by purchasing that is part of the same set as the Father of Dragons' Might will be considered a bug of this map that I
forgot to account for! Also, it is FORBIDDEN TO DIG UP THE FOLLOWING ARTIFACTS: DEAD MAN'S BOOTS, MEDAL OF VULNERABILITY! Using these methods is FORBIDDEN!

Therefore, completing quests related to collecting the full set of Father of Dragons' Might artifacts is mandatory! Or victory over all opponents as an alternative!

1. Of the 2 proposed saves, you must download the one for the difficulty level you prefer to play.

2. The downloaded save should be placed on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes 3.

3. Load it and start playing at any time convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves.

4. After reaching the final action (after which victory occurs), save again.

5. With the final save, describe this last step in detail (most likely a battle); then the results will be processed faster and there will be fewer suspicions of cheating!!!

6. A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If such descriptions are provided, a contest for the best description will be held; 10 of them (the very best) will take their place of honor in the "Hall of Fame" section!

7. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

8. Wait for the results.
