Shadow Dragons are avatars of Malassa herself, the goddess of darkness. Their bodies are like onyx, and their wings are covered in purple spheres, each of which is an Eye of Malassa, capable of discerning the shades of darkness—that which opposes the light, and that which lurks in the soul. It is said that it is from these shimmering spheres that shadow watchers emerge.
