Abilities

• Elemental Shield Resistance to Fire and Cold +10%. Taking any damage from one of these elements increases the corresponding Resistance by 4%, and reduces the opposite resistance by 6%, up to a maximum of +20% bonus and -30% penalty to Resistances.
• Keeper of Knowledge Enables the friendly Vikings to use the Defense Rune twice per round. Allies of other races get +4 Defense.
• Divine Hand If an ally scores a Critical Hit, the Attack of all Soothsayers increases by 1, up to a maximum of +10 Attack.
• Magic Protection 50% resistance to Magic damage.
• Persistence of Mind The creature is immune to Mind Spells and effects.
• Runic Knowledge The troop has its own supply of Magic Runes. The Attack Rune increases the damage dealt by the troop by 25% and the Defense Rune decreases the damage received by the troop by 15%. Each Rune is applied automatically once per turn, when inflicting or receiving damage.
• Ice Storm Creates a great Ice Storm in a cell. Deals 10-14 cold damage at the heart of the storm and with probability of 30 freezes it for 1 turns. Adjacent cells take half the frost damage and the probability of freezing is halved.
• Loki's Touch An enemy troop of Level 4, with a total leadership of no more than 90% of the summoning unit's own Leadership, is brought to a state of madness for 2 rounds, making them attack everyone, friend and foe. After using this skill, the Soothsayers are weakened for 4 turns and inflict only minimum damage with their base attacks. This skill has no effect on creatures immune to Mind spells.
• Arcane Healing Restores 16 health per creature in the troop to a friendly troop. This can restore fallen soldiers of level 3, but resurrection requires by 2 times more energy. Cures poison, bleeding, and the plague.
• Witching Staff Their enchanted staves can strike an enemy at any distance. Has a 50% chance of stripping one positive effect from the target.
