Here, at the very beginning of the video, you can see the Hero moving not from a top-down perspective, but from the side (close-up).

In the video options, there's a setting for camera positioning. There are three options: free, classic, and isometric. Choose the last one... Or use free mode and hold down the right mouse button to lower the camera to ground level.
