There were many: Silver, Final Fantasy 5, Soulcalibur, DOA2, Armyman, Floigenbros... I can't remember everything, I was obsessed with video games back then.

There's even a mention of "Berserk" here! It's a great cartoon; I watched it about a year and a half ago, right before the New Year. However, they showed the last episode first, a clever move, and then it told the story of how Guts ended up in such a state. Back then, I got all the guys from my class hooked on this anime (yes, this Anime!). Of course, it was sad for the whole gang, but it all led to the conclusion that "a person is not even capable of expressing their own will." But Guts still managed to resist fate, went against Griffith, and won. But maybe that's his fate? What is fate, who plans it, and how can you tell if you've taken fate into your own hands or are just going with the flow? On the other hand, they could have prepared four angels of death, so to speak, to kill their newly appointed prince. All his life, Guts killed, traveled, and searched for his place, but what does the cartoon lead to when he finally finds his place and is about to stay (at the end of the series) with the Hawk's gang, and then a bloody massacre is committed against everyone who was so dear to him. In general, the cartoon has many interesting moments, and it won't leave anyone indifferent; don't pay attention to the pale picture (although it has its own charm), the main thing is the style and the plot!

"Berserk" gave me mixed feelings. On the one hand, it's a great anime with merits that have already been mentioned; on the other hand, it feels like the screenwriters, engrossed in Guts' peaceful life, forgot about the demons' arrival and only remembered it around the 20th episode (I'm not sure exactly – it's been a while since I watched it). After that, all the characters suddenly start behaving differently, not like they did in the previous episodes, and the plot becomes completely nonsensical. In particular, I'm curious how Guts managed to escape from the demons at the festival, and considering his situation at the end of the last episode (lying under a demon, his left arm cut off, a demon's tentacles stuck in his right eye, and surrounded by a huge number of demons, and he's unarmed), this question becomes even more interesting. As for the manga, it wasn't written based on the anime; the anime was made based on the manga. I haven't read it myself, but I was told that the anime covers about 1/10 of the manga, and in the rest of the manga, Guts just fights demons, and there's no further plot development. Also, according to the manga, if Casca survives (the person who told me this hadn't finished reading it yet – he had about 1/10 of the manga left), she's not with Guts but with Griffith, so the game also has some inaccuracies.

Well, a few assumptions can be made. A plot twist: the restoration of a peaceful life and its subsequent collapse just as Guts finally finds his place. How did he survive after the festival? Perhaps Griffith himself let him live—a game of cat and mouse; he released him, the swordsman was tormented by nightmares, and later, the city awaited the appearance of the Black Swordsman. This is where everything went wrong according to Griffith's plan; he lost to Guts (by the way, he lost to him when Guts left the band in winter to seek the embodiment of "his dream," perhaps wanting a rematch). The army that was destroyed was enough for the rebirth of the hell-prince, and judging by the first (meaning—last) episode, Guts was avenging everyone; as for Casca, nothing was heard about her, and it would be correct to assume that she also perished, but one thing is confusing: the game of the same name. If according to the manga she remained with Griffith, then clearly not for long.
