A few days ago, for some unknown reason, the game stopped responding to keyboard commands (I have to watch the entire intro video when I launch the game, and it doesn't respond to the forward, backward, Esc, or other keys). What's the problem?

Caps Lock. Although, I don't know...

Could the issue be with the layout?

I spilled something on it, maybe beer or juice. Solution: clean it, if that doesn't help, buy a new one.

The problem only occurs with this game; everything works fine in other games.

If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the game and only keep your save files.
