Understood, in the late game, one magic skill without spell power and more combat skills with minions is needed, right?

I create mini-arts for all initial and levels 1-4 creatures, and for the rest, I give attack/defense. Spell power is necessary in the late game, especially for a mage with Darkness, as you'll cast spells more often, which is very important. Combat skills are not needed for a mage, but if defense drops, you can take it.

1) Has anyone tried using Oroy with skilled spellcasting, empathy, and a sharp mind? Does she have enough time to cast spells before the goblins' turn on levels 28-29? 2) And before the centaurs' turn?

Her special ability is broken; the initiative bonus is negligible. It should either not manifest at all or provide a minimal bonus (she only moves before X if their initiative is the same).

with skillful spellcasting

It only reduces the spread on the initiative scale after casting, not before.

with empathy

Well, if there are fast creatures, and mages can have them thanks to artifacts...

The most devastating thing for an Orc is cursed lands: the poor fellow can immediately forget about something like rage points – unfortunately, this is the only truly effective method – there are other options, of course, but I don't experiment against an experienced player and only play this way (Winghael would be good here).
