:smile45: Guys, help me! I can’t teleport to Celesta. It says there’s an error, but it doesn’t explain where. It asks if I want to save before exiting the game. Then, I enter the game, load the autosave, and everything is dark everywhere in Celesta, like it’s night! And I can’t proceed further in the quest. :(

I never had these issues with the 7th game because it was the collector's edition. There were some problems with invisible units, real problems, but in the end, I just ignored them. By the way, what do Manticores look like?
With the 8th game, there were and still are problems. There isn't a collector's edition for the 8th game.
It would have been easier to post on the Booki website. Diples In the 7th part, they forgot to add manticores to the game, and you can only encounter them in the arena. And in the 8th part, set compatibility mode, remove the HP menu, and disable hardware acceleration.
Everything worked fine for me right away, except for the truly invisible enemies (only the jellyfish in Mount Eofol). And indeed, where are the manticores supposed to be? Maybe we didn't explore the entire game; they must be hidden somewhere. I didn't manage to reach the end of the labyrinth.
The game ran fine on my old computer, but after I bought a newer one, I can't launch it. During installation, it says that a Pentium 2 is required and displays a question mark next to my system specifications. Please help, I really want to play! :(
Many versions of Might and Magic VII don't work under WinXP; I had the same issue. I read many different articles about Compatibility Toolkits, reducing the number of screen colors to 16-bit, making changes in dxdiag, and other strange things, but none of them worked. I was already thinking about installing Win98, but then I came across the "Unofficial Patch v1.21 by Mok." Here are the patch's features: -Ability to play on Win2k/XP -Support for modern graphics and sound -A whole bunch of bugs that were still present in the official patch 1.1 have been fixed
As a result, by downloading just over 1MB, all problems are solved, plus you get excellent graphics and sound. I highly recommend it!
P.S.: Since links to websites are prohibited by the rules, I uploaded the patch to narod.ru, which is reliable and stable, plus a copy on the forum, so you can choose whichever is most convenient.
I can't seem to install it:smile32: I'm specifying the path to the game folder: C:\Program Files\Buka\MMCollection\MM_VII\Might & Magic VII, and it says the game wasn't found in the folder. Could it be that this patch is only for the regular version of the game, and not for the Buka version?
Added 1 hour 21 minutes ago My old computer had Windows XP, just like this one. It had a Pentium 4, and I upgraded to a Core 2 Duo. When I try to launch the game, it gives me a Microsoft error asking if I want to send an error report or not.

Yes, the pirated Collector's Edition runs perfectly on Windows XP without any issues. But the Fargo version and other localizations simply won't launch without some tweaking.
Videos don't play – the game crashes and displays an error (similar problem in Might and Magic VIII). I was able to skip the introductory videos, but I couldn't skip the video showing the departure from Emerald Island, and because of that, I can't progress further. :( :mad:
