We accept the criticism :) It's a pity there were so few people in 4. I chose the Olympic system because there happened to be exactly 8 players, and everyone would have played several games. When the tournament started, many refused to play due to lack of time. If I had foreseen this, I would have used a round-robin system for own points. But unfortunately, it's too late :(
I hope more people will participate in the autumn tournament and no one will refuse, though that might be naive to believe, but still :)

In the last couple of days, you've boosted the Heroes theme (especially Heroes 4) more than in the last month!!! IMHO.

Yesterday, we finally finished playing a tournament game with Alex P. Alex P (Life) and Lu41k (Nature). My starting hero was Gramin, a marksman, and then I hired Vianna, a druid, in the tavern. Alex's starting hero was Pirvian, a priest, and then he hired Worton. We played for a long time, both in real-time and in-game time. In real-time, it took 3 days (or rather, nights), and in-game, victory came on day 2, week 4, month 0. We decided to gain experience and build up a larger army, although Alex constantly harassed me with raids from his secondary heroes! Towards the end of the game, when I had gathered a sufficient army and was preparing to find him, he surprised me, and I lost almost my entire army!! I won't reveal his secret weapon. I thought I wouldn't recover from such a blow, but I managed to save some troops and quickly started rebuilding my army. But if Alex had immediately attacked me then, he would have definitely won, but he didn't do that, especially since I had more gold, which meant I had more opportunities to acquire an army than Alex. In the end, we gathered our troops and finally met. My scouts showed that his army was moving towards my cities, so I prepared for the encounter and moved to meet him, while simultaneously sending another army (a supplementary one) to capture his cities! Almost simultaneously, my supplementary army reached his city, and Alex and I met in battle. He had 6 angels, 52 crusaders, and 204 archers. His main heroes were Pirvian, level 12, a Grandmaster of Life Magic, Worton, a level 10 Pyromancer (specializing in tactics and a bit of Chaos magic), Derden, a level 7 Archmage (specializing in Nature and Death magic), and Neshka, a level 5 Nature Warrior. My army: 10 phoenixes, 102 elves, 137 water elementals, 7 magic dragons, and one more dragon standing separately (to cast the "Slow" spell), and the heroes: Gramin (Nature), a level 14 General (Grandmaster of Archery and Warfare, with some Scouting and Tactics skills) and Vianna, a level 14 Sorceress (Grandmaster of Summoning and Master of Nature Magic, with some Chaos magic). The "Poison Cloud" and "Slow" spells helped me a lot, and the units just had to do their job. The dragons cast lightning bolts, the water elementals fired ice arrows, and the elves simply shot arrows; the phoenixes were the main striking force (but I had to resurrect them later, as the crusaders tore them apart). The outcome of the battle was in my favor – his main forces were defeated. That's basically it.
