Mark sets out to scout and locate the target, following the inquisitor's instructions.
A few kilometers from the city, Mark finds the man the agent spoke about. He was sitting by a small fire, looking around every minute.

The archer assessed the current risks and the priorities of their group. In the past, he had often been involved in similar tasks, and considering the information he had received earlier, he believed that he currently had an undeniable advantage over the target of their small quest. Deciding that returning in the current situation would be irrational, Mark decides to eliminate the target here and now.

Firing from maximum range, stealthily and unexpectedly.

I shoot from the maximum range, remaining unseen and launching a surprise attack.
It's too far away; it's a forest, after all. You can't just shoot through it.

Nasty dendroids.

The scout returns to the others and reports on the situation.
—I suggest we move out immediately.

The scout returns to the others and reports on the situation.
- I suggest we move out immediately.
- My lord Orc and I will flank him from behind and drive him towards the city, while you deal with him! - the agent said to Sotria and Mark. - Do you have any objections?

I'll be in partial offline mode until evening. I'm waiting for my bride there by the shore.

Alright, I think Gulag has no objections. Those who wanted to took a shield that reflects lightning and stops the cold.
What are you doing, sneaking up and scaring him, or are you running at him screaming "die"?

Just like the agent suggested. Those two will go around, and we'll be waiting for them in ambush.

Sotria and Mark set up an ambush. Meanwhile, Galag and the agent flanked the wizard, sneaking up from behind.
- Aha, got you! - the agent shouted, jumping out from behind a tree and running towards the wizard.
The wizard uses Cold Wave.
The agent is frozen for one turn.
Galag - Immune.
The wizard runs away.

The wizard reaches the place where Sotria and Mark are hiding. Assassination is not possible.

Morning
Should we attack?
You almost caught up to him. You can use the attack command now.

Okay, I’ll do it that way, assuming the guys don’t take care of him first. Do we need him alive or dead?

Since letting him pass us would be pointless, I open fire on him.
Sotria casts spells and charges.
