I just can't seem to beat the Rune Knight. Right now, I was fighting a dragon, and he kept summoning three Bahamuts, but I kept destroying them all, but in the end, he finished me off with his dragoon attack.
Suddenly, after all the suffering I endured against the Rune faction in the previous season, I'm now winning against it in about 90% of the games, haha.
I'm not skilled enough at RuneCraft to dismiss such an opportunity. Besides, it made the game easier for me even without using Shift; the opponent was playing Elan, and I destroyed him with a spell in the fifth round, leaving him looking completely helpless.
By the way, want to hear about how much of an idiot I am? I was playing against a dragon, and he cast a spell that halves the cost of cards. I drew Dimension Shift, and I cast a bunch of spells on this creature and then cast Dimension Shift. Then I used the creature, and IN THE SAME TURN, AFTER THAT, I CAST A COUPLE MORE SPELLS and Dimension Shift again. The creature, after Dimension Shift, attacks and leaves the opponent with 1 HP; in the next turn, they defeat me. What would it have cost me to cast the spells first, and then a better creature, history doesn't say, but I felt like the biggest idiot.
I usually play cautiously, but I guess I was just too happy to finally be able to afford a shift, which usually either doesn't work for me or works until I get defeated.
