I will state the specific requirements for the tournament: 1) The game will be played exclusively on the SOD version.
The sponsor also believes that it is best to play on mirrored maps. But I know the majority of players' attitude towards them - so I think that a vote on which maps to play will be the optimal solution.
These two points, in my opinion, do not go well together.

I really liked the show-tournament format from Tvarina; maybe we could take that as a basis?
If it were up to me, I would organize either a large, cup-style tournament for everyone who wants to participate, so it would be completed quickly. Or, like Tvarina, with 8-16 top players. I also plan to organize arena tournaments, on fixed maps, team tournaments, etc. In general, I want to showcase different formats on YouTube.
This topic reminds me of the famous tournament in Yekaterinburg with a prize pool of $10,000. :D
I wasn't aware of this tournament. :) All I can say is that this sponsor is reliable and paid out the prize money on the very first day of the previous tournament. The second sponsor from the previous tournament settled the payments within two weeks. The deadlines will be strict: if you don't have time to play, you're out.
Negotiations are underway to change the tournament format. But for now, everything is as described in the topic. The final result will be announced later. This topic was created to gauge opinions and get an approximate number of interested participants. It will be held in any case – the only question is the format and the participants. Even if there is a force majeure situation with the sponsor, I will find another one. This is not the first, and I hope not the last, tournament for the YouTube audience. All wishes will be heard, and I will try to satisfy the majority by discussing these points with the sponsor – I won't be able to please everyone for obvious reasons.
In the current tournament format, I won't be able to edit all the matches in time. Especially during the group stage. In the previous tournament, 1-2 matches were edited per day, depending on their duration (but the level of play was lower for many). I think in this one, I won't be able to do more than one match per day. And editing streamer matches can take several days – so the coverage on YouTube will definitely be delayed. So, I am also interested in shortening the tournament or changing the format, but I am ready for any editing workload. In any case, all matches will be uploaded much earlier than the matches from the "Creatures" tournament (they haven't all been uploaded yet, as far as I know).
We'll take you, of course :). Your game level is good - viewers will find it interesting. For now, everyone who wants to join from the HeroesWorld portal can get in.
Even if there are few applicants, there are always plenty of lower-level players outside the portal, so the required number will be gathered. But if there are more applicants than needed, someone will probably become a replacement. In the first tournament for 14 people, there were 2 such replacements during the group stage.
I'd play, but I'd like the daddy host (organizer) and referees to be determined already. Only SoD works perfectly for us :)
1) I personally handle the tournament organization, group draw, seeding into pots, editing matches, and commentary. However, if any daddies want to record and commentate on some matches, I would be immensely grateful — it would take some work off my shoulders. Anyone willing to try their hand at commentating, write to me (the main thing is to have no background music during commentary).
2) We'll gather the referees soon — they'll be either the same judges as in most HeroesWorld tournaments or, if they decline, I'll arrange it with others.
3) The sponsor is responsible for the tournament format, prizes, and their payout — so far, there's only one sponsor in this tournament.
10) You have up to 3 days to submit the video (otherwise, a technical loss may be awarded).
Question: Will a video from a Twitch channel be accepted, or does it need to be recorded locally on a computer and uploaded?
Когда рестартов не осталось, обязательно ждите Гурниссона без балисты:D

question: will a video from your Twitch channel work, or do you need to record it locally on your computer and upload it?
If Twitch saves your matches on your channel, I can re-record them from there. But if you can record locally or download the video file directly from your channel for everyone, I would be very grateful – it will save me time.
I'll play, whatever the rules or type of tournament. I don't understand such messages in the thread... the main thing is that there are people who are willing to invest their time and money in this tournament, and I will thank them... and I repeat, it's not very polite for participants to nitpick the rules:smile17:
