I'm listening to the epic songs from the previous page, and at first, I thought that the cunning Revene had slipped in an instrumental track, but he slipped in a growl. It's listenable, but more melancholic than depressing.
like with Led Zeppelin, or even more telling, Uriah Heep - I honestly listened to their entire discography.
Led Zeppelin is great! But Uriah Heep didn't really appeal to me, although I haven't heard much of them. I also listened to the first song from Revan's post - it's kind of bland at the beginning, but somewhere after the middle, it starts to get good. This is even better (it recently snowed):
As for me, the instrumental part in the death metal songs seemed relatively good, even though I think growl vocals are much better than instrumentals, despite my dislike for growls.
Listening to the second song, it's pretty much the same as the first.
