Biography:
Lawrence was born into an ordinary Nozenrot family and quickly decided on his future profession. He always made a good impression, and it was difficult to find anyone who would speak negatively about him. From childhood, he stood out for his responsiveness and kindness, honestly performed his work, and tried to do what was right.
The Remay family lived in the southwest of Nozenrot. His diligent service to the Motherland did not go unnoticed, and over time, the Nozenroter rose through the ranks to become a lieutenant. Patrolling the streets became a thing of the past, and now he was engaged in other matters, although sometimes he still went out into the city if someone needed a replacement or increased security was required.
One day, while Lawrence was patrolling the trading district, a girl ran up to him asking for help. The lieutenant asked her to calm down and tell him what happened. The stranger told him that some guy snatched her purse on the street nearby and disappeared. Lawrence immediately went to the scene of the crime, giving instructions to his subordinates. The guard acted quickly and efficiently, detaining the criminal half an hour later. All this time, the girl waited for news, and when she saw Lawrence carrying the stolen purse, she immediately rushed to thank and hug him. Only then did he notice that the stranger was wearing an expensive dress, had several pieces of jewelry with her, and her hair was neatly styled in a beautiful hairstyle. The girl herself looked somewhat unusual for these places and extremely attractive, despite her eyes being wet from tears and her lips trembling with excitement, which hadn't quite passed yet. But it seemed to him that she looked even more charming like that.
As it turned out later, the stranger was the daughter of a very rich and influential man. Ayalia was half Ninsharian, which is why she differed from ordinary Nozenrot girls. The young lieutenant and the beautiful maiden began to communicate, and then they developed romantic feelings for each other. The girl's relatives did not object to the fact that their daughter's chosen one came from an ordinary family and accepted him. Soon they got married and moved to Valderan. There lived Ayalia's brother and part of her relatives. Remay thought that he already knew everything about his beloved, but it turned out that he was wrong. His new family's connections extended all the way to the royal family of Ninsharia. It was through his wife that he met Princess Ayya. They often gathered together and spent time, whether it was a formal dinner, cultural events, sightseeing tours, or just gatherings at the palace.
After moving to another country, Lawrence lost his previous job and initially didn't know what to do in this new place. He didn't want to serve in the Ninsharian army, and his status no longer allowed him to be an ordinary soldier, nor would anyone appoint him to a high position, given his different nationality. But a solution was found: he started training young men from aristocratic and wealthy families.
Some time later, Ayalia's brother offered the Nozenroter to accompany him and his wife on a trip south, where he needed to go on business. Remay agreed because he wasn't used to refusing people's requests, especially those of relatives. Together with them went armed guards, and along the way, in one of the cities, they decided to join a caravan heading for the same lands as Lawrence and his company. Everything was going well until one night the camp was attacked by Shunian raiders. They kidnapped several people, including the wife of Ayalia's brother. The owner of the caravan dissuaded him from pursuing the non-humans, but Ayalia's brother wouldn't even hear about it. He knew that the Shunians could eat a person, and if they dragged him into their city, then consider him gone, especially since they were far from the nearest Ninsharian castle, and calling for reinforcements would take too long, which they didn't have. Early in the morning, the group set out in pursuit, but without the caravaners, who decided not to risk it and continue on their way to the city. Lawrence understood that they were taking a risk, but he also understood his relative, who had lost his love. If Ayalia had been taken, he would have followed her without hesitation, and these were the thoughts that guided Remay primarily when he supported his brother-in-law. But they did not foresee that the Shunians might prepare an ambush, expecting the chase. It was into this ambush that they fell. The Nozenroter was wounded almost at the very beginning of the battle and lost consciousness. When he woke up, there was no one left except the fallen comrades and a few Shunians. He did not find his relative among the dead, assuming that he had been taken with them, and judging by everything, the Shunians considered Lawrence dead and therefore left him. The wound was not too serious, although it wasn't just a scratch either. He managed to bandage the wound, but a lot of blood had flowed while he was unconscious. Following the Shunians in such a state was pointless, so gathering all his strength, the Nozenrot knight tried to find his way back and went in what seemed like the right direction. For several days he wandered through the desert, driven only by thoughts of his beloved, but he didn't reach anywhere. His strength gave out, and Lawrence fell on the hot sand under the scorching sun.
Waking up, Remay saw unfamiliar people in cloaks in front of him. They said something to him, then ordered him to follow them, and without understanding why, the Nozenroter followed their instructions. Not that he didn't want to, no, he wanted to go, but this desire was not his own. Lawrence simply acted as if it were his goal, and he had to fulfill it, no matter what. At the same time, he retained memories of home and Ayalia, to whom he wanted to return. After some time, he told them about his desire and his wife, but the priests of Aggaton did not listen to him; instead, they sold him to the succubus Vilinlia. Since then, he has been traveling with her, fulfilling her assignments.
