Here's a link to download it. Then, you need to configure it. Once configured, you can create your own server with a name and password, and then connect all the others to it, and you can play.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and we'll figure it out.
Many people on the Nival forum have already asked to add a button for direct IP connection! And I think it will be added in the first patch soon.

Today, the online tournament for Heroes of Might and Magic V Duels has been officially announced. A substantial prize pool has even been approved . You can find all the information about the tournament here
The strongest players in the Heroes of Might and Magic series are going to participate in the tournament!!! So, I wish everyone good luck and look forward to lively discussions from the tournament participants. I advise those who will participate in the tournament to create a corresponding thread in this section.
It's not about the money or some "tournament." :)
The thing is, the organizer of the Heroes League tournament knows me to some extent and is aware that I frequent this forum. He asked you, as a friend, to extend an invitation.
And what's with the self-interest? You can always decline the prize. Less pride, perhaps? ;)
Wouldn't you like to defend the honor of the forum in the tournament?

Don't you want to defend the honor of the forum in the tournament?
ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!

By the way, Xakep, I suggest you be active in the "Let's unite under a common banner" thread and create a thread nearby about developing a methodology for organizing tournaments on the site. Once it is tested, then we can talk about organizing our own tournaments. But in any case, we won't return to this issue soon; I think everyone is busy right now.
The main goal of any tournament is to attract as many participants as possible and identify the strongest player. A larger number of participants indicates a higher level of competition, which, in turn, is not a disadvantage, but a big plus. Strong competition always contributes to improving the level of gameplay:cool:

And why do we need a methodology for tournaments? Just gather participants and put them all in online battles, using an Olympic-style system... of course, creating a tournament table....
+1 for philosophy.
You also get +1 for the extra point in philosophy and for lifting my spirits :)

So, let's get to work :) If everything is simple. Personally, I have no idea where to start after gathering at least 4-8 participants. :(
I'd like it if there was a registration process and all that... because if that were the case, it could even be on our forum, which would be great! But unfortunately, everyone relies on other portals...
I didn't want to create a separate topic, but...
Regarding playing over a local network - is it true that IPs like 192.168.11.xx and 192.168.5.xx (with 5 being any number other than 11) can't see each other? Meaning, the game is only possible between IPs like 192.168.3.xx and 192.168.3.xx, or 192.168.4.xx and 192.168.4.xx?
You probably didn't come up with 192.168... out of thin air, but rather from some other source; the way they interact is much more complex... I (honestly) couldn't figure out how to set it up:( :(
Well, Heroes 5 won't be available in Latvia for at least another month... :( What about universal keys?
Universal keys - they're often pirated and don't always work. ;)

P.S. может мне и предложили, просто я не помню :smile44:

Okay, let's get started :) If everything is simple. Personally, I have no idea where to begin after we gather at least 4-8 participants. :(
So, after we gather 4-8 or more participants, we create a table...
something like this:
user1
user2
user3
user4
user5
user6
Then, a battle... in a duel... then the results are announced, and to avoid cheating, both players must confirm that user X won.
After that, we'll have half as many players.
And so on... basically, anyone who has watched the Olympic Games will understand...
