You need to like potions, especially for secondary heroes. :D They are VERY helpful (cloud of bewilderment, acid, etc.):D

Of course, a potion of immortality! How can you do without it? It's sometimes simply indispensable! Healing potions are also helpful, and holy water is a must! And also a mana elixir, because sometimes you run out of mana, but the battle isn't won yet.

Sometimes you completely forget about certain potions during one game. And in another, you just buy them in large quantities. I like Bosmer's Blessing, Healing, and the one that adds a turn (I don't remember the exact name, but it often came in handy).

Potions. It's great that they exist! I don't remember them in Heroes of Might and Magic III... which means... that this is another innovation of Heroes of Might and Magic IV!!! Hooray, comrades! Why not make full use of them. My favorites:

4. Magic Energy;
5. Strength;
6. Healing;

Potion of Healing, I think, removes the curse magic. (but not sure)

Healing does not remove curses. It removes poison and plague and restores full HP.
