Posts from Is it possible to defeat 1000 Archangels with just one Imp?
Exactly 1000 - no, it's not possible. Only if it's a player, and they are in no more than 3 stacks, all gathered in one place. This is practically impossible, so there's no point in considering such a situation.
The AI will divide archangels into 7 stacks when fighting against a single demon.
1. It must be in the Castle, and it must be with the Tactics skill. So that the turrets shoot first. In all other cases, the archangels move first.
but also in the case when we attack a Castle without a Citadel, while having ballistics.
In general, I don't like these kinds of challenges. Small maps often have all sorts of twisted tasks, and I prefer to build up my defenses, develop my hero, and then move into enemy territory.:smile13:

The AI against a single Imp will divide the Archangels into 7 stacks.
But a smaller number is possible, in which case:
1. It must be in a castle, and tactics must be used. So that the turrets shoot first. In all other cases, the Archangels go first.
2. There must be a VERY strong mage, with expert Earth magic and the Summon Elemental spell (preferably also Earth).
We summon elementals from the first turn; there should be enough of them so that the Archangels don’t kill them in one turn. The Imp will naturally be killed; the number of elementals increases with each turn, and there are fewer and fewer Archangels.
Before killing the last Archangel, we resurrect the Imp (because otherwise, the elementals will disappear, and the defending hero will also die).
I was laughing... 7 stacks of 1000 are easily defeated without any elementals, resurrections, or cursed armor...
Is there anyone here who wants to defeat 1000 Archangels with a single Imp and do it fairly?
Even if the Imp is under the command of Sir Mullich and you have all the speed-boosting artifacts, the Imp still won't go first.
But even if (due to Tactics, for example) it goes first, it doesn't change anything. No spell can kill 1000 Archangels in just five turns. And with the speed that the Archangels possess, they will immediately reach the Imp.
And the author of the topic really tricked us! Well done! The result of the map: you need to hide in a corner for several years, not play Heroes, and not see the light of day in order to manage to lose on it. It would have been more impressive with a peasant.
7 packs might not be enough either, if they are slowed down strategically.
but even if we attack a Castle without a Stronghold, while having ballistics.
If you spend magic on "Slow," you won't be able to cast elemental spells)). But otherwise, it's possible.
To everyone who says it can't be done – learn how to play!!!
To everyone who says it's impossible – learn how to play!!!
Doesn't it seem to anyone that the topic has run its course? :smile48:
