New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
What are you talking about? The plot in Heroes (all parts) is terrible, and to say that the RPG series started after the strategy game is complete nonsense. Heroes 5 is the peak of the series as a strategy game. Here, they talk about the atmosphere lost in the fifth installment, but the atmosphere was lost starting with the third part. In general, Heroes is primarily a strategy game, and if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the Might and Magic universe, you should play Might and Magic, not Heroes (unless it's the second or first game...).
And by the way, regarding the "old-timers" who say that the third part is a spoiled second part with a few good innovations (specializations, the underground level of the map), I'm not an old-timer (I'm almost 14), but I also think so.
Heroes are an integral part of the M&M universe. Without knowing the M&M universe, it seems as if the Heroes were created out of thin air. That's how it is. And those who say that the plot in this universe is bad should study history.

Where in Heroes, besides Chronicles, was the plot "give the main villain a beating"? Even in SoD and AB, the plot isn't really like that. And Chronicles is generally an apocryphal story.
They never managed to corner Sandro. They did with Lucifer. But it wasn't just one superhero; it was a whole huge army. Heroes are an integral part of the M&M storyline. And the 8th part is very important for the universe; it's still a turning point in the war between the Ancients and the Krigans.
By that time, the Krigans had been annihilated.
[/U]The remaining Krigan who weren't killed during the massacre in Eoful fled to the world conquered by their brethren during the Reckoning. Only a small number of Krigan from that world made it to the Axis.
Sandro still wasn't kicked out. Lucifer was. But that wasn't done by a single superhero, but by a whole huge army. Heroes are an integral part of the M&M plot. And the 8th part is very important for the universe; after all, it's a turning point in the war of the Ancients against the Krigans.
