Hooray! I always loved raiding them!

What do they look like? My friends and I play to see who can defeat the Dragon Utopia first – the winner gets all the beer.

We need to let Nival know that they should add such a mode to the expansion pack! It's a great idea!

My friend and I were playing "Hot-Seat"... he managed to conquer one of the utopias. Although, by that time, I was already asleep because I had lost. He said that the artifacts there weren't very good. Oh well. Does anyone know if there will be collections of maps, or not? Do you think there will be larger maps and a map generator? How long do we have to wait?

I disagree about very large maps; they can only be played in single-player mode, but the best feature of the game is to compete against friends in hotseat mode, and even better, 2 vs. 2! Playing hotseat on an XL map in the third game would be madness. The maps that are available in the fifth game for hotseat mode are perfect. P.S. Regarding the generator, assembled artifacts, and other things... all of this appeared in the third game with the add-ons.

I disagree regarding the very large maps; they can only be played as single player, and the coolest feature of the game is to mess with one of your hotseat companions, or even better, 2 vs 2! Playing on an XL map in Heroes 3 via hotseat would be madness 8) And the maps available for hotseat in Heroes 5 are just right 8)
P.S. As for the generator, combined artifacts and such... all of that appeared in Heroes 3 with the add-ons.

What do you mean playing hotseat in Heroes 3 on "XL" size would be madness?! I always played only on this size in Heroes 3 with my friends. And specifically via hotseat! It's very cool!! And also with the Dungeon!!

Of course, it took at least a day. But it was very interesting. And don't tell me that it's good when the maps are small. I still really hope that patches will be released with normal (large) maps.

I agree! I also only enjoy those types of maps :-) I'm not interested in small or medium maps - there's not enough room to maneuver :-)
