Well, let's say I used to go for walks when I had a 45-minute walk to work. It was quite nice, especially considering my love for heavy boots (each weighing about a kilogram) and the fact that there was a promenade that took up about a third of the way. It was like exercise + relaxation.
And in one company where I worked part-time, there was an employee who always smelled of beer - he would stop by a store on his way to work and drink a bottle of beer :D He was later fired, maybe unfairly, as he was a good specialist.

It takes me about an hour to walk 6 kilometers. That's if I walk at a decent pace, not when I'm still half-asleep. Here, they were suggesting a 10-mile walk.

But when did he eat his steak?
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
Why the steak? Beer is already very high in calories.

Okay, let me explain my thought. Let's say I can cover 10 miles in two hours. I suspect I'll have to switch to running at times, but let's assume that. My workday starts at 8:30, so I need to leave the house at 6:30. Before that, it would be nice to wash up and have breakfast, so I need to get up at least at 5:40 to have time to put the kettle on and eat something. Of course, the last point, about going to bed at 11 pm, already looks ridiculous – because I'll have to go to bed much earlier. Well, okay, let's assume I like to go to bed early and wake up early no, what's next? Unless I ate a pound steak for breakfast, which would require waking up an hour earlier, i.e., at exactly five in the morning, to prepare and eat it, I need to eat it upon arriving at work. And I don't know of any places near my workplace where I could cook it. Again, my workday lasts 8 hours, and there's only one 30-minute lunch break. How I can meet the requirement of eating a steak every 6 hours is unclear. Again, even if I order it from some cafe, I suspect it will cost me a pretty penny, because I assume it will cost from 300 rubles and up, multiplied by the need to eat it twice a day – about 12,000 rubles a month, not counting other food expenses (I can't just eat steaks) and other household needs. For all the above reasons, I believe that these tips are hardly applicable to an ordinary Russian working person.

Why steak? Beer is already very high in calories :)
Because Dag said so.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
Yeah, Dag gives some pretty bad advice. :) Coffee and cigarettes are bad for your skin and teeth, beer leads to beer alcoholism, and a beefsteak... well, a beefsteak is good advice. Although I like shawarma too. We had some Eastern European guys selling a not-so-fat chicken version right near the office for about $1.50-2. I don't know how much that is in rubles, or even how much it is now in hryvnias, but back then it was between 12 and 16 hryvnias.

If “u.e.” means dollars, then in rubles it’s somewhere around 100-140, I don’t remember the exact exchange rate anymore, but it’s a reasonable price.
As for the beefsteak, it’s not a very good suggestion; beef is fatty and heavy, and if you eat too much of it, it won’t be good for you.

The inapplicability here is not that it’s impossible, but that it’s dark and slippery right now. But in principle, why not? At worst, replace morning walks with evening ones. Put on headphones and, so as not to waste time, either learn a language or listen to audiobooks. But this is probably only possible in spring and summer.
