This is essentially the first topic and the first question. According to the guide, I installed Heroes, version 4.0, and the map generator is available. I'm placing the file in /Data/ as rmg.txt. The question is: How can I tell if the template is working if I'm a beginner? Is there a difference if the extension is specified in Data for the rmg.txt file, or should I leave it as rmg without specifying the extension?:smile45:

There was no need to create a separate thread for this. You could have asked in the "round table" or "forum" section.
You can check if everything worked by pressing the English button I or simply going to the scenario information. After the words "teamplate was," the name of the template is written.

If your system has file extension display enabled, it should be rmg.txt.
