Ravelin gestured, summoning two subordinate skeletons to follow him, and continued onward, carefully watching his steps and inspecting the walls for traps and other dangers.

Added 1 minute later
He gestured to the warrior skeleton to walk ahead of him, just in case.

-Wow, it's great that you can control skeletons. That will be very useful to us.

Why didn't those attack?
He pointed at the two skeletons.
They seem to be stuck.
In the temple, not everything works perfectly.

Added 1 minute later
He gestured for the warrior skeleton to go ahead of him, just in case.
A stone slab rises. The passage ahead is now open.
When the mercenaries entered, they saw a large, elongated hall with many statues of people depicting various emotions. At the end of the hall, a black mirror was visible, leading to a path made of black marble.

The first trial was somehow related to levers and the correct sequence, the second with a black mirror and faith, and the third with the bridge guardian and questions.
- I guess I should look in the mirror. Or maybe I should break it. There's probably some trick here, but... there's no other way.

Alexis decided to take a closer look at the statues, both in general and to see if there were any inscriptions.

There were no inscriptions on them. They seemed to be just decorations for the hall.

-We'll never get out of here otherwise. I'll take a look into this mirror. -Caldrim walks towards the mirror.

Kaeldrin sees only himself in the mirror, and nothing else.

- Maybe I should try it? - Alexis suggested, taking off her bracelet. Over many months, she had noticed how this item affected her personality. And now, if she was facing the kind of challenge she imagined, this influence would be very unwelcome.
If I take it off, the deviation disappears, right?

Added 1 minute ago
I think it would be good to have a character with a strong will here. And probably not a member of Haven, given their views.

It disappears.
Alexis sees herself and Kael'drim standing next to her in the mirror.

Well, if it's some kind of mind magic, then you need to send a hero with low willpower instead.

Kaeldrin carefully examines the mirror from all angles, considering whether it might be possible to lift it and move it around the room.

Kael'drim carefully examines the mirror from all sides, considering whether it is possible to lift it and move it around the room in any way.
It is "built into" the wall.
