Gazing thoughtfully into the distance, Tanasius sat wearily on the pier, sighing heavily from time to time. It had been two years since his Clan suffered a crushing defeat in the clan war. Two years since the once proud warrior was forced to fulfill the whims of soft-hearted strangers. Sometimes, Tanasius considered returning home and trying to forge an alliance with another Clan, but he quickly dismissed such thoughts. After all, the only path open to him would be within the weakest families, where the situation would be little better than his current one. No, returning home was definitely a bad idea; it wasn't yet the right time for that. Later, when he managed to become wealthy and famous, then the moment of truth would arrive. However, to Tanasius's great dismay, there was still a long way to go before that moment – even though he had gained some notoriety and earned himself a nickname in mercenary circles, things were worse regarding money. In part, Tanasius blamed this on the greedy foreigners, and in part on himself, who was unable to fully control his spending. Previously, many things were done for him by slaves: they cooked, cleaned, took care of his equipment, and did other "non-warrior" tasks. Now, he either had to give up these services or spend his meager savings on them. Over time, Tanasius learned to manage his finances, but what had been spent could not be recovered. He consoled himself with the thought that at least this served to temper his character. And so, it was too early to give up – he would return to his homeland, and he would return triumphantly! It might take time, but the wait would be worth the moment when those responsible for his misfortunes begged for mercy from the man they believed to be long dead!
Fantasies about a triumphant return made Tanasius smile, but he quickly forced the smile off his face. It was too early to rejoice; he still had much work ahead of him. Even if that work turned out to be something like the uninspiring announcement he recently came across.

IV Chance to avoid damage from an enemy's attack (constitution).
V +10 to damage, -5 to dodge in melee combat.
VI Chance to deal triple damage (strength).
*With each rank, damage increases (3) and the chance of dealing critical damage increases (2%).


Breath of Winter (-|-100, -150, -250)
I The character's weapon gains the ability to inflict additional cold damage (willpower).
II There is a chance to freeze the opponent for one turn (willpower + critical hit chance); the frozen opponent receives double damage.

Stone Skin: -50% enemy damage (-100)

Healing Magic


Leadership: +35 to health and mana for each character in the group, +7 to willpower; provided that the character with this skill is appointed as the squad leader.
Striker: The character instantly covers the distance between himself and his target. In heavy armor, use is only possible if the character has the armor proficiency skill.

Inventory: Chainmail, helmet, equipment for caring for armor, family sword (two-handed), writing tools, and two diaries (one for direct purposes, the other for recording curious tactical techniques used by foreigners and other similar information), money, and supplies and other camping gear.
