Map description: A map for 8 players (playable with 4 of them), with a fixed faction selection - Castle, Tower, Rampart, Fortress. The map is not difficult and is designed for a single-player playthrough. Alliances of 4 vs. 4 players. Many artifacts, many resources.
I made it about 10 years ago. I found it by chance in my archives. So, please don't judge it too harshly.

player04, the map looks quite good: the design and content are well done! But we need to test the gameplay and balance. And how many more maps do you have stored away? If you have others at this level, please share them; it would be a shame for them to go to waste!

Oh, thanks! There are two more, but they are for WoG, and I only have the editor for The Shadow of Death. I have one for 5 heroes, and I posted it here. It's called "Map number 1 and a half." I'll download WoG, take a look in the editor, and post those two later.

If the maps are created in the WoG editor but do not contain any WoG scripts or objects and do not use specific WoG rules, then they can be converted to SoD and played in SoD (i.e., "The Shadow of Death"). For this, you can use either a converter utility or a standalone WoG/SoD editor. If needed, I will provide links to them. Thanks for the playthrough! But I added a lot of objects from World of Xeen to the map. (I posted one in the neighboring thread. I don't know where to put maps for World of Xeen. Actually, I mostly use World of Xeen objects as decoration. I think I only played World of Xeen with commanders enabled. I recommend launching the map with that one option, just in case.)
