In XP, all 4 patches were installed, and everything worked fine. After installing Vista today, I installed Heroes with all 4 patches. But, unfortunately, it doesn't launch. Does anyone have the game working on Vista?

It works perfectly for me! Tell me, did you buy a licensed version of Vista? I doubt it, so don't complain!

There's a possibility that you need to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP in the executable file's properties.

I found a solution! It turns out you need to install DirectX 9.0c!!! I thought that since I have Vista with DirectX 10, there was no need to install version 9.
