Does anyone know how to translate Shifters?

"Changers," "shape-shifters." On Demilich's website, there is a summary of the plot of this game, as well as the games Warriors of Might and Magic and Crusaders of Might and Magic, the events of which take place in the same world - Ardon. Demilich considers this to be one of the planets in the original (NWC) Might & Magic universe, and I think he is right.

And on the same page, there's a description of a game similar to King's Bounty, but the names are different. Or is it just a glitch in my version of King's Bounty (I'm playing on a Sega emulator)?

This is HoMM: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff. The world of this game has no connection to M&M, although it doesn't conflict with it either. Or maybe QftDBS is related to KB.

Shifters Might and Magic is a continuation of the games Crusaders of Might and Magic and Warriors of Might and Magic, developed for PS2. Interestingly, 3DO announced the game as Shifters Might and Magic, but ultimately released it with a shortened title – simply Shifters. HoMM: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff is a remake of King's Bounty, also developed for PS2. It doesn't seem to have any plot connections to other games.
