I think it's important to know what's happening in terms of politics and economics, as there are many different people here, and everyone sees the world in their own way. I believe that sharing different points of view won't hurt anyone. If this isn't the right place for it, we can create another topic. However, the advantage of discussing politics on this forum is that anyone can join, even those who aren't interested in politics, and they don't have to be an "Idiot" – a person living in isolation from public life, as in Ancient Greece. Another advantage is that we all know each other more or less. If someone doesn't like it, they can simply ignore the forum.

I fully support the politics and economics discussions in the Tribune! But, a political scientist of Ariputra's caliber hasn't been active on the forum for a long time, so I don't see the point. X)

You can talk about the dollar, the crisis, etc., but when the conversation turns into “your fascists, and ours are saints,” and then insults and even threats follow, it becomes unpleasant. Similarly, posts in the style of “ariputra” don’t lead to anything good either.
