Hmm... I don't think there will be any issues with the rules. As for the map... that's more complicated. I don't have a map editor. If we just use an existing map, that wouldn't be a problem, but is it possible, and if so, where can we find one? It might happen that the owner of a map posted online will later make claims about it... and how do we find someone who moderates the tournament section?

I would gladly play offline matches in Heroes 5, but my hard drive is being repaired, and I don't know when it will be fixed. I think everyone would be happy to play, but organizing it is another matter.

I agree with SandroXXL; online play definitely requires more time, but ultimately, everyone can choose when it's most convenient for them.

Regarding the mode... the idea of a duel mode is very interesting! It really would save time, and since I hope there will be many participants, it's a real possibility. Besides, you're right about the traffic – not everyone has unlimited data...
