I was initially given a different name, and I even lived under that name for a while, but one of my grandmothers was against it! So, they renamed me. But here's a strange thing: my first name still has an influence on me, even though no one calls me by it anymore! That's why I named my daughter that way. My name is Ekaterina. I like my name! Especially the way my husband calls me.)))))

I'm often called "Zhuchka," and it's all because of my nickname in clubs and on game servers.

My name is Dasha... I hate this name because it's stupid. So, for my friends, I'm Dashusik, Dashusya, and Danya.

Just so you know, the name Daria originates from the Persian king Darius and means, if I'm not mistaken, ruler, sovereign, etc. So, the name has a perfectly good meaning. Imagine a queen named Dashusik. To me, Daria sounds a thousand times better. My name is Edik (also not the best), and it means guardian, protector. Therefore, I am proud of it because that's what I am.

Well, I'll reveal my nickname to you: when I was a child, I was called Kangaroo :smile01: (in the courtyard). And now, some call me Energetic, especially because of my active lifestyle... and I can't do without dancing even in campaigns... music gets me going... :smile44: P.S. I like my name. It's good that I wasn't given some exotic name, like Sanchez Aguchieros Agudo Percho. Dima is short and pleasant. And in general, for most people, the most pleasant word is their own name. And it's even better when you're called with a diminutive and affectionate nickname, for example: Dimochka, Dimulya, Dimas... It's so nice... :)
