I suggest creating a Skype conference dedicated to Heroes of Might and Magic. This would make it easier to find opponents and stay updated on the latest news. If there's too much irrelevant chatter, we could limit the content of messages (e.g., finding opponents, news about new tournaments, streams/game starts), and issue time-outs or temporary bans for excessive off-topic discussions.
As far as I can see, there aren't many downsides – if someone doesn't like something, they can simply leave the conference.
Something similar was created when people were playing Might & Magic: Heroes VI. I think it worked quite well, the only problem was the excessive amount of irrelevant chatter, but that can be controlled.
