Sorry, you STILL didn't understand me.
It's not "The Bible says he was like that," but the opposite... if someone had rewritten the Bible 400 years ago, the faith would be different now! It's a PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTOR. Not "it's red because of this law of nature," but "it's red because I think so"...
"Мы не герои. Мы сильны. Мы упрямы. Мы стараемся соблюдать условия контракта. Но мы не умираем за проигравших." Костоправ
"Мы не поклонники честной игры, если ее можно избежать. Девиз Отряда – максимальная эффективность при минимальном риске." Костоправ
My apologies, I'm being misunderstood AGAIN. Not "The Bible says he was like that," but the opposite... if someone had rewritten the Bible 400 years ago, the faith would be different now! This is a PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTOR. Not "it's red because of this law of nature," but "it's red because I think so"...
This couldn't have happened 400 years ago. It's no longer the Middle Ages, but the Inquisition was still making its presence felt. At that time, heresy was dealt with severely. As for the color red, "it's all in the name." People have been giving names to things and animals since the beginning of history to make it easier to distinguish "this one with horns" from "that one with stripes." A person looks at a rose, thinks what a beautiful color! And decides to call it "red." Well, that's just a rough example. It's the same as asking, "How do you know our country is called Russia? Maybe you were just made to believe that, and we actually live in Tilimbombia!":D
Now Wiz understands me :) I went too far, of course, but he understood :)
2Diversant Honestly, when people talk about these sects, sometimes you regret that the Church doesn't have some kind of cartel body like the Holy Inquisition... specifically for sect affairs. These "witnesses" have NEVER even held a Bible in their hands!!! I listened (some came to visit us once) and then I went and asked some smart people... those "witnesses" were talking complete nonsense... IMHO, the Church rushed it with the TOTAL ABOLITION of the Inquisition... and was right in its own way. but that's off-topic.
And generally — ENOUGH OF CLASSICAL LITERATURE FROM THE ERA OF HUMANISM!!! These thoughts of mine regarding "man as the crown of creation" are from overindulgence :)

Why is it off-topic? The topic is generally about religion.
As for the Inquisition, it never existed in Orthodoxy. The story with the Old Believers is something else.
Regarding the "witnesses" of Jehovah, they memorize specific lines and quotes from the Bible and each time they come with a pre-memorized and prepared text. Hmm, that's funny :) Religious debates usually don't lead to anything (because each religion has the most convincing arguments in favor of its own correctness)... All except those that take place between sectarians and real priests/monks/rabbis ;) A priest of any religion can easily "defeat" any sectarian.
Or maybe no one is capable of understanding what existed before the beginning. Perhaps our gods are just shadows of the true gods who existed before, and those are shadows of people from the past. And so on, endlessly. The snake eats its own tail...
Or maybe there are no gods at all; humans invented them. Why are there so few things whose creation can be attributed to any of the gods? And with each year, there are fewer and fewer of these things and events (with the development of science). Don't the gods want people to pay attention to them?
Or perhaps there are no gods at all, and man simply invented them. Why are there so few things whose creation can be attributed to one of the gods? And with each passing year, these things and events become fewer and fewer (with the development of science). Could it be that the Gods are not interested in having attention paid to them?
Or perhaps God simply thought everything through so brilliantly? Just imagine! God endowed water with the most amazing properties! If you heat it, it turns into steam, and upon cooling, it pours onto the ground again—and all thanks to what? Every drop of water consists of molecules, which in turn consist of atoms, which consist of electrons, which... And every type of atom and molecule has its own properties! And all this, according to you, happened because of a random explosion?:smile52:

If you heat it, it turns into steam, and when it cools, it flows back to the earth, and all thanks to what? Each drop of water consists of molecules, which in turn consist of atoms, which consist of electrons, which... And each type of atom and molecule has its own properties! And all of this, in your opinion, happened as a result of a random explosion?:smile52:
But you can't attribute everything to God. If you continue your chain of thought, you can come to the question: "Who created God?" Many sources speak of a certain Universal Mind... which supposedly created the universe and everything. But WHAT or WHO was before this Universal Mind/God? Even more gods, who created our gods?
All reflections will lead to the conclusion that no matter how many universes, eras, stories, or worlds there are, and no matter how much anyone creates, something primordial that has always existed laid the foundation for everything. And the Bible states that God has always existed and has always been a trinity.

Well, always is a relative concept. And something must have existed that could have given rise to God. But that's already a topic for "which came first, the chicken or the egg?:)"
I understand that asking oneself questions like "What if?" can be very useful and has led many scientists to great discoveries and inventions, but in some cases, such a question is simply inappropriate. In all religions, everything started with something; there was always something that existed from the beginning. Only atheists or some sects waver on the question of the beginning (this is my personal opinion, and I may be wrong), because atheists, due to the simple stubbornness that exists in every person, do not recognize the possibility of the supernatural, attributing everything to the weak excuse that "science doesn't know about it yet." However, this "yet" has been going on for more than ten thousand years.
The cosmos is infinity compressed within the human mind. Knowledge is the actual discovery of "corridors" to infinity. Faith is agreement with certain interpretations of infinity. God is the fullness, of which infinity (the cosmos) is only a part. The moment of "beginning" is a temporal gradation of our consciousness. God is beyond consciousness and gradations.
