Biography:
Adrian's real name is Darren. He was born in Vaironia, the son of a small merchant and a laundress. At the age of nineteen, he ended up in prison for murder. This happened in a provincial town when young people got drunk in a tavern and started fighting with knives. Sometimes these incidents resulted in casualties. Darren knew that he would surely be hanged if he couldn't escape. After picking the lock and killing the guard who tried to stop him, he fled the city. Darren didn't want to stay in Vaironia, believing his future here was bleak. He planned to reach Nevermore; rumors about this glorious city had even reached Darren's homeland. Now, Darren himself wonders about his youthful foolishness, remembering that at nineteen, he thought life in Nevermore would be fun and exciting. Realizing that he could not pass through the Wild Lands, Darren headed to the nearest port city. Secretly sneaking onto a military ship, he managed to reach Dal Shabet.
Once in the city, Darren was amazed by the technological marvels of the New World. Mysterious devices with moving needles that showed directions, strange metal tubes firing lead bullets with incredible speed and force, and other unusual things made a huge impression on the young man. When he asked a local merchant to explain how it all worked, Darren became even more confused but vowed to figure everything out. And he did. After spending a couple of months in Dal Shabet, he could already make simple devices himself. Then, as he intended, he went to Nevermore.
Darren became a follower of Nox and stayed in Nevermore for several years, leading a normal life for an inhabitant of this city: killing, robbing, hanging out in taverns and brothels. After some time, such a life bored him, and Darren decided to change his lifestyle and go traveling. He visited many countries and cities; in some countries, he was sentenced to death, but, being a follower of Nox, he never revealed his true identity and was therefore never caught.
Learning that the private organization "Silver Knight" was recruiting people for an expedition, Darren decided to participate. He decided to introduce himself as Adrian, an inventor and mechanic from Dal Shabet.
