Visiting St. Petersburg in May is a sure way to end up in the hospital. I remember my feelings from visiting sunny Peterhof during the May holidays...

We arrived without any incidents (except for Scorp stealing a gold mine on the way:D). We'll describe the rest later, once we've gathered our thoughts.

It was sunny, but without a winter down jacket, I would feel extremely uncomfortable.

Finally made it through the so-called Lithuanian state and reached my hometown.
The event was awesome, but I got used to being away, which is a shame because I could have stayed for a couple more days.
It was great to meet new people. Scorp, Mizrael Just, very positive guys, I'll be glad to see and chat with them again.
Hellight seemed like the most serious Siberian "cotton-headed" guy, but next time, he needs to improve :D
Kostik, one of the few who managed to escape from Ukraine to join us, an interesting conversationalist, thanks for the walk around Minsk, the pub we walked so long to find was simply amazing :D
Grizwald, a new and worthy generation from Siberia, he'll show everyone up soon.
Besha, no comments, it's obvious how cool you are, and thanks for the overnight stay after the unfortunate incident with the train.
Tvaryna, a cool guy I was glad to meet, and I enjoyed trying the cough syrup.

Thanks a lot to Lizard for organizing the 5th full-fledged CIS gathering! The songs were as great as always, it's a pity that a string broke, so you owe me one song :D

In Crimea, in my opinion, it's not worth it... in my opinion, there are three real options: St. Petersburg, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Novosibirsk. Work is already underway on the first two.

If I'm not mistaken, a ticket to Crimea from Yekaterinburg now costs 3,000 rubles, which is very tempting))). Of course, you need to factor in various risks, and the local Heroes players are also silent. Perhaps they have enough problems without games...
Sharm el-Sheikh is also a great option; there is absolutely nothing to do in Egypt in the evening, and there may also be discounts from tour operators if you travel to the same hotel in a group - I'm all for it!
I've never been to St. Petersburg, but they say it's the most beautiful city in Russia - I definitely support it.
It would be interesting to see Novosibirsk as well - especially since it's relatively close, I just haven't had the opportunity to go there.
So, all the options suit me:)

Honestly, it doesn't really matter where you go – whoever wants to go will go to any city/country – there's no other option – the only thing that matters is personal preference – I'm for St. Petersburg))) to visit Kirzhakobr, he's a good guy))))

We hadn't even made it home, and everyone was already thinking about where to invade next – they wanted the party to continue... the atmosphere was a solid 11 out of 10.

Kosta (the most hospitable host) gets a big thank you for all his hard work – "he's the man" (as they say), and a heartfelt thanks!

Asm, Mi, Katerina, and Merlin – who are they?! ... Ah, they're the super team of DJs! :smile02: Well done, you guys put in the effort, and it was the best. Those who missed the competition program are kicking themselves:p

Not just for the others, but for EVERYONE:smile12: :smile54: :smile12: you all rocked the place with positivity, made some awesome new friends, and the "old-timers" were like a fine cognac with a new SNG + star. I was looking forward to two epic real-life meetings, and both exceeded my expectations – I finally met the legendary Besha :smile02: and the "teacher" of High Magic, Vbn (2456 - olyn:D). I'm writing this, and it feels like I'm still there... sigh, everything comes to an end... damn it, I want more :smile35:

Of course, congratulations to Tyoma on winning the SNG Minsk 2014 bracelet :smile49:, Anton on finishing in the TOP2 and having a good split, although maybe it was that split that let him down; after it, he burned out and relaxed. Congratulations to Sergey on finishing in the TOP3 (and TOP1 in MTT-SNG +R:D), and of course, congratulations to all the TOP players!

P.S. And thanks to Petr (Peterius) for the awesome "Heroes" t-shirts, which I just received thanks to Yura and Sanya because I missed the SNG Ukraine 2013 :smile54:

We were late leaving, so we had to stop in Minsk to exchange Belarusian rubles for our currency. We took a slight detour when exiting the Moscow Ring Road onto the Moscow Highway (we were driving without a navigator, which DD left behind, and he didn't show me how to use it) - as a result, I arrived home around 11 PM.

P.S. In the morning, I found a camera lens cap from my CANON camera in my pocket. Dust'ik says it's yours.

First of all, I want to express my gratitude to Lizard for organizing this event and to Merlin & Co. for conducting it – in my opinion, everything was at a high level! Kostyan, take things easier and don't listen to the trolls! :-)

The conference hall with a billiard room is simply amazing, all of this is located in a pine forest, the rooms are good, there is three meals a day, although not restaurant-style, but it's very convenient to have it "right next to" the computer; the fact that there were interruptions with hot water is a minor issue and didn't spoil my stay at the base at all!

The weather wasn't great, so fishing and walks around the city and its surroundings were out of the question for me (because I didn't bring warm clothes) – that's a bit of a pity, I would have really liked to sit with the guys, fishing rod in hand, with a shot glass on the bank!

But all of this is nothing compared to the most important thing – the friendly company of friends, the unity of spirit, the atmosphere of a heroic celebration – this is what our Siberian team of "vatokats" leaves Mother Siberia for once a year and travels thousands of kilometers away from home for.

The city of Minsk itself left only the best impressions; first of all, I was struck by the cleanliness of the streets, the greenery, the balanced architecture, and the absence of garish advertising signs and billboards! It's a pleasant city to live in!

...Only on the last day, a few hours before the plane, did I suddenly realize how I didn't want to leave this warm, friendly atmosphere... If I have any regrets about this trip, it's only that the memory card ran out at the most inopportune moment, and I didn't record Kostyan performing our anthem in the lobby of the building on the night of departure – it was fantastic!!! And also, a little about the fact that I've become too old for heroes; those were the days when my eyes were burning, and I had a competitive spirit...

Congratulations to Artem on his double championship!!! You're just amazing, old man!!! ;-)
I didn't think he would take the game so seriously; that's why I didn't even bet on him ((( but he always surprises and doesn't give his opponents a break – "How, how do you do it!" (C) :-)
But he'll still have to compete with the Siberians – I'm sure! ;-)

P.S. We're waiting for everyone to visit us in the summer or early autumn – fishing, barbecue in nature, evening gatherings by the fire with a glass of something strong, and a boat trip to watch the sunset – I promise! :)

...and yes, and for Skorpi, a personal stew cooked in a cauldron over a fire – just come!
