I'm ready to argue that integration with Europe, in my opinion, will not bring any economic benefits. Europe is currently torn apart by internal problems and will not help its eastern neighbors. It is enough to remember with what "enthusiasm" money was allocated to support Greece. Against the background of the budget deficits of Italy, Spain, Greece, etc., Ukraine is not needed by anyone there, except perhaps as a promising sales market. If any financial assistance is provided, it will be on draconian terms. It is enough to remember the recommendations of the World Bank in the 90s and 2000s, which were aimed at weakening the national economies of the former Soviet countries. For example, following these recommendations, they completely ruined the best cryogenic industry in the world – they said it was harmful to the environment, the ozone layer, etc. – and now this giant market is completely controlled by the West. Now there are competitive industries in Ukraine that are linked to Russia (military industry, instrument engineering, space). What will happen if these ties are broken? Someone will object: the ties will remain. But no! In order to satisfy political interests, to remain in power and earn trust, to be a protégé of political forces, any leader will sacrifice the most advanced industry. This applies to both your and our leaders.
Some agricultural production remains in Ukraine – but what will happen if the borders are opened to the European market? Our (your) agriculture is many times less competitive than Western agriculture and will simply be crushed by prices, etc. At the same time, no one will get access to their markets. My friend, the owner of a large agricultural enterprise, goes to agricultural exhibitions in Europe (Hanover, etc.) several times a year. He is completely devoid of illusions about the free market, the influence of the WTO mechanisms, etc. Brazil and other major producers have not been allowed into European markets for a long time.
Will it be easier to travel to work in Europe? Don't make me laugh! Again, one of my friends lived in Spain for 7 years and has no desire to return there under any circumstances. He says that unemployment is 50%, especially among young people. Entry will only be for highly qualified personnel, who can already afford to go there.

They started pushing my face into the snow and told me to hold a snowball to my face. An ambulance for the police was standing nearby, and the doctor came out and said that he would help me. He took me to the ambulance and called for a resuscitation team, which transports police officers. He told the police that I needed urgent surgery.

When the resuscitation team arrived, I got in, but I said that I would not go anywhere until they gave me back my passport and keys to my car and apartment. I got out, but I couldn't walk because my heel was broken. Some captain told me: don't be stupid, get in the ambulance, or you will disappear without a trace, like hundreds of others.

I was half-naked and barefoot on one foot. He said that he would bring something now, and he brought me my torn and half-burned jacket, of course, with empty pockets. Then my brain started working again because I had a concussion not long before. I got into the resuscitation vehicle and went with them.

In the hospital, where they brought me (No. 17 in Pechersk), they treated me very well and did a lot of tests (including a CT scan and X-ray). I refused help, but they forcibly treated me and explained that everyone brought here is taken to a pre-trial detention center, and they secretly showed me some men in civilian clothes who were sitting everywhere. I said that my wife would come and pick me up now, but they said that she wouldn't make it. They called a taxi for me and prolonged my examination and treatment."
