I would like to add this to the overall tournament results table. Was the Buchholz coefficient calculated? Or did 4 people share 2nd-3rd place?

In reality, 4 people shared 2nd-5th place. But before the last round, we decided to change things up. Initially, we were playing a Swiss-system tournament, which unexpectedly turned into an Olympic-style tournament. And to avoid anyone feeling bad who scored 3 points, we divided half of the prize money among them.

Overall, I've learned from experience that in our case, we should have played an Olympic-style tournament from the start.

Overall, based on experience, I'm convinced that in our case, we should have played a round-robin tournament.

I think this is right for any similar event with no more than 16 participants, because only the one who wins all the games wins, and the other games don't really affect anything.

They decided to award 2nd place to the finalist, 3rd place to the semi-finalist, and split 4th-5th place. 6th place went to the semi-final loser.
Also, since the games for 2 and 1 points haven't been played yet, that is, Preds vs Psyche_7, Ward3n vs Tovariщ, and Snoopy vs GoedenDag.

Overall, based on my experience, I'm convinced that in our case, we should have only played the Olympic map.

In my opinion, the final result is amazing.

Everything was great, it's a shame I couldn't make it on the following days :( . Just one small suggestion. If there's a tournament in 2015, choose a location with good internet and provide high-quality streams. I can help with that. Then everything will be a 10 out of 10. :)

Ah, as always after online gatherings, there are a lot of positive emotions. Thanks to Sasha-tvaryne for remembering our April conversation and getting involved in organizing the tournament. Snoopy is simply amazing; he arranged for a wonderful chef who cooked delicious borscht, and the meat-filled pancakes before we left were fantastic. Maybe it would have been worth flying in at 7 am instead of taking the train at 6 pm. It was nice to meet a lot of new Heroes players, as well as Amlu's sister. And it's a pity that Lizard wasn't with us, which means the song about the heroes won't be enriched with verses about such extraordinary personalities as Gunnar and Kirill Samoylenko. :( P.S. I almost forgot the most important thing - once again, congratulations to Vatya on his victory, achieved in a beautiful style: ""At 114, I felt the tension" - I think it will soon become a new Heroes meme!

Well, that's true – I tried, honestly! Not sure why I ended up without the external dwelling of birds, couldn't find it on respawn (or found it, on 121, something like that. Actually no, I saw it on 117, but couldn't reach it anymore, and my army was on the other edge, anyway – not important). But with 4 birds I decided I was a god and the surrenders started one after another.. Got upset and gave up.

Ward3n(1) – Snooppy(0) – smka – Alexey wasted the entire timer on tactics, not understanding why the troglodytes wouldn't move forward into battle, then surrendered and went to sleep.

I drafted Dungeon?! And what did I give away? :eek: Honestly, I don't even remember what happened there... I only remember the timer and that I surrendered immediately. I should drink less...

How many times is enough?! Even for me this is too much! Did we even play at all? I think I just handed over the win like that.

But overall it was fun. A huge thank you to everyone! Тварыне for organizing, Питериусу for the awesome hoodies, Amiloo and Костику for help setting up the router – real hackers! (Тварына, by the way, did you figure out the password? We changed it on purpose for you ;) ) Костику also for the guitar – a legend (did you play Nagano on guitar in the wee hours? :D absolutely stunning) And Vatya, of course, a champ: after the folder surrender didn't lose heart, and was rewarded – with victory! And to everyone else for the great company and excellent time spent! And Snooppy is a rotten egg: got smashed again and slept through it all... If anything was off, please don't be mad. You're all great guys, I think we'll meet again, and I'll do better. Maybe :rolleyes:.

What a great story! I vaguely remember something about nonsense, and probably instead of "what" it was "which"... Not much else, though...

I seem to have lost my installation disc for the Platinum edition of Heroes from Ubisoft. If anyone happens to find it in their laptop, please return it if you can, okay?
