I'm not even ready to prove this to you. Simply because 1) I don't have the opportunity to play 2) I don't have extensive experience with SoD-Jebus, Maretti clearly plays this template better than I do.

Moreover, the experience of tournaments like "Shakti vs Gunnar" shows that a series of games proves little. Gunnar won back then, but who was convinced of anything by that?

Studying the balance of factions should be done differently — a tournament like "Castle vs Necro on Jebus" should be created, with colors assigned in each round, for example, in round 1 red Castle vs blue Necro, in round 2 the opposite, and so on. Opponents swap colors (and accordingly factions) after each restart. This is to compare the factions themselves, not the skill of their proponents. Then, based on the results of several dozen games and player surveys, more or less adequate conclusions can be drawn.

Well, well. If you're not willing to prove anything, not even to me, then your words are meaningless.

A hippopotamus is sitting in a swamp, blowing bubbles. Another one approaches him:
- Let's go to the neighboring swamp and stomp on frogs with our butts.
- Yeah, right! I'll drop everything right now and go do something pointless!

group K: 24.10.13 Aiwe (blue, Tower, Neela, Straker) def R55Max (red, Rampart, Kyrre, Kyrre) 8mm6a 132

1st withdrawal: nothing there, I wanted to take a restart, but I saw a refuge, thought that if there's no arch — I'll take a restart, unfortunately there was a Cloak of the Undead King, but the necromancer who came to the tavern said not to restart.
Since besides the starting Kyrre, my opponent got Dessa, Gunnar, and Gosh, he also didn't take restarts — we started playing immediately.

I decided I didn't want to rebuild my favorite castle, and there was no money anywhere anyway, only 1 crypt in the distance, nothing else. I just necromancer'd, took the secondary swamp, placed a Wyvern there by week 1 day 1, scouted a level 4 Griffin Conservatory (was afraid to go in), took a mini Dragon Fly Hive. Started building a Mage Guild in the Tower. Found an external dwelling of green dragons in the center, and my opponent ran straight at me — well, I attacked joyfully without mana, forgetting to slow down with two horses + lightning bolt.
In the end, he shot me up pretty well, killed the Cloak of the Undead King, and fled with 17 elves.
On day 1 week 2 month 7, I take his Rampart, on day 1 week 3 month 1, I buy the growth plus another fight from the external dwelling, on day 1 week 3 month 1, I run to his computer — castle. Day 1 week 3 month 2 — my opponent attacks with 17 Grand Elves and 26 Marksmen, plus about 20 Knights, but after a lightning bolt on the Grand Elves — GG.
Overall, I played rather weakly, the Cloak of the Undead King in the refuge made me too relaxed, but it was hard to lose.

Thanks for the game.

The way balance between factions is studied needs to be changed – a tournament should be created, something like "Castle vs. Necropolis on Jebel," where in each round, the colors are specified, for example, in the 1st round, red Castle vs. blue Necropolis, in the 2nd round, the opposite, and so on. Opponents switch colors (and, accordingly, factions) after each restart. This is to compare the factions themselves, and not the skill of their players. Based on the results of several dozen games and player surveys, it will be possible to draw more or less adequate conclusions.
It won't be Castle vs. Necropolis on Jebel, but Castle vs. Negro Gosh on Jebel. And that's a huge difference. Even if we assume that Necropolis = Negro Gosh, it still won't be a comparison of factions. Often, Gosh is played as a main hero for other factions (especially where there is no terrain penalty). And also, in the original template, the Necropolis villages and the Necropolis center were cut. This would, of course, be a plus for the Necropolis, but not a significant one.
When comparing these cities on Jebel, I would immediately pay attention to the 7th-level troops. How easy it is to get Angels or Dragons on day 1-2, and what dividends this will bring. How easily both can be built, and what an Angel is against a Bone Thrower, and an Archangel against a Ghost. What is the overall useful speed of the troops in movement points. And let's compare the offensive power of both cities, for example, against an Orcish army of Efreet-Sultans, which are often found on the Global Map... where it turns out that skeletons without Gosh are far from what you'd like. I've played a lot... you have to try very hard to lose with Castle, even with more or less equal starting conditions, and even if there's a slight advantage for the opponent. I thought that Citadel was a more or less real competitor, especially due to the combination of easy and fast construction of the powerful Gray Dragons and the infamous Crag :)

The game went well; the third or fourth Necromancer arrived, who immediately became an expert on level 111. I gradually gathered gold and didn't rush. On levels 121-123, I took 3 cons in a row, totaling 6 angels. Galtran is an expert in air, offense, armor, and Necromancy. I headed to the computer. On his turn, the opponent surrendered. Thanks for the game.
The analysis showed that a cheeky computer-controlled Tower stole boots from the transit zone a day before my arrival, so Gosh would have been even faster.

Played well, the third or fourth Necromancer arrives, who immediately becomes an expert on level 111. Slowly gathered gold, didn't rush. On levels 121-123, I took 3 cons with chain links, totaling 6 angels. Galtran - air expert, offense, armor, Necromancer. Went to the computer. On his turn, the opponent surrenders. Thanks for the game.
The analysis showed that a cheeky computer-tower stole boots from the passage zone a day before my arrival, otherwise, Gosh would have been even faster.
I confirm. On level 125, I see that the opponent has a larger army, even considering that I have 44 upgraded griffons, etc. I go into the maximum cons with GS and stay there, not finishing off 32 griffons. The analysis showed that the opponent had a good setup. Although I shouldn't complain either.

It won't be Castle vs Necro on Jebus, but Castle vs NegroGosha on Jebus. And those are two very different things. Even if we consider Necro = NegroGosha, it still won't be a direct comparison of towns. Not infrequently, Gosha is played as a main hero for other towns (especially where there's no terrain penalty). Also, in the original version of the template, the necro dwellings and the necro center were nerfed. That would have been a plus for Necro, but not a significant one.
Comparing these towns on Jebus, I would immediately focus on level 7 units. How easy is it to pick up an external angel or dragon dwelling on day 1-2, and what dividends will that bring? Can both be built up without issues, and how does an angel compare to a bony, or an archangel to a spectral? What's the overall useful speed of units in MP? And let's compare the offensive power of both towns, for example, against a horde of Efreet Sultans, which often appear on GO... where it turns out that skeletons without Goshan are far from what you'd want. From my experience... you'd have to try really hard to lose as Castle with more or less equal spreads, and even with a slight advantage for the opponent. I considered Citadel to be a more or less real competitor, especially from the combination of easy and fast building of the mighty gray ones, and of course the notorious Crag Hack :)
According to HeroesWorld rules on Jebus, you can start with Gosha, so this option is being considered.

What bony are you talking about, what do you mean? You don't even always need to set up horses. Transformer, power-up, and go-go smash skeletons, while breaking Dragon Fly Hives, Griffin Conservatories, and whatever else you find. If you get a conveniently placed mini-Conservatory or a lotter Dragon Fly Hive, the tempo skyrockets. If you get 15 lords in a Pandora's Box, same thing.

A huge plus for Necro is that it doesn't particularly need gold for building; a couple of shallow mines cover its financial needs, and the rest are in chains, earning bonuses.

I ran 10 generations, skipping only obvious blocks. In 2 cases, I reached the center in week 1 (days 116 and 117 respectively). I never set up bony, set up horses about 6-7 times, never set up Citadel or Castle; if I had extra tempo, it's better to upgrade horses. Often I used witches as extra fat. A couple of times I upgraded zombies.

Castle, for all its army's strength, loses to Necro in tempo because it needs gold to gather angels, then archangels, and the breaking of Conservatories and Dragon Fly Hives starts later.

So yes, if Necro sits around dawdling, stays on respawn, and emerges simultaneously with Castle, then the archs [archangels] will decide the fight. That's actually why I say: the lower the skill of the opponents, the more often Castle tends to win on average—it's more resistant to dumb plays.

And Necro's strength lies in reaching the center a couple of days earlier than Castle and devouring key bonuses. After that, you can even go home or to a side respawn, accumulate skeletons; starting from week 3, time starts playing in its favor.

According to HeroesWorld rules on Jebus Cross, you can start with Gosh, so that's the variant we're considering.

What bone dragons are you talking about? Here you don't even always need to build cavalry. Transformer, booster, and go-go power-stack skeletons,
Excuse me, what booster? Since when is it allowed?

24.10. 2013 ProtosArchon (Stronghold, Craig Hack, Craig Hack) def SVAROG (Necro, Galthran, Galthran) Jebus 2.1.1

Opponent took all 3 restarts while i have used none. On day 1 Craig took 5k exp and got log and earth. Did not found much next two days, but decided to not take rest cos Hack was doing nice and still alot area left to explore. But, it turns out that my area was really bad. Only 1 goblin dwell, 2 cons with 5 angels and one hive with 4 wyverns. The only hope was desert, cos i saw hydra dwell there and i started to build up my 2nd fortress town.
I broke 123 in desert, but did not found much there. 3 hydra dwells, some hives and lions shield. Atleast opponent went into different path of desert, so i got time to explore inferno area. There i found 5 utopias, many hives and 6 more angels. After that i upgrade and buy all army and go to find opponent. I found him in his main town and attacked him there. He had 2.3k skelleton warriors, but no chance vs Craig Hack with 51 attack and 100+ upg wyverns. Thx for game.

I was dealt a better hand than the opponent; had Conservatories and beehives on the main, came out late with 7 angels, 32 ducks, 350 skeletons, and meat on 124. On 126 I drove the opponent out of the center and he wrote GG. Thanks for the game!

Excuse me, what kind of external dwelling are you talking about? Since when is it allowed?
What's so unclear here? You take the Vandomina, build the external dwelling, then upgrade the Vampires and off you go. On 113 you take Pandora for Lords + 2 of their external dwellings and come out to the center on 114. You don't even need Dragon Fly Hives here :)
