Act III. Liberation.
Traps continue to appear in the forest, and random victims still fall into them. This time,
Gur fell into a pit and unsuccessfully tried to get out of it. In another part of the forest,
OUGHT found himself in an unsuitable place and spent the whole night hanging on a tree. Meanwhile,
Zlobny Yashchur had to listen to the clatter of hooves that continued until morning. But these are the least significant events that happened during the night.
Nebo continued his self-appointed task of protecting the forest, but apparently not everyone liked his methods. He was heading towards another target he considered dangerous when suddenly he stopped and began to listen. It was difficult to see anything in the darkness, but his instincts told him that someone was nearby. Perhaps the howling wind and rustling leaves prevented
Nebo from hearing the whistle of a fired arrow and reacting in time. It hit him in the chest, and the strongman howled in pain. He pulled out the arrow and threw it aside, but the archer did not intend to retreat, and a new projectile pierced the victim's body, followed by four more.
Nebo stood on his knees, breathing heavily and trying to stand up, but his strength was failing him; his eyes began to close, and he collapsed to the ground. Now, the God of the Sun will take care of him. The killer approached the body, searched it, and left. In the morning,
Neira Drake and
Drakkoska were free again.
On the edge of the forest is a small dugout, which is quite difficult to notice, but he managed to find it, and even the locked door didn't stop him. Once inside, he immediately realized that this was not an ordinary dugout; it was much larger, and all these objects could not belong to an ordinary hermit or forester.
Rudyy had just finished preparing a potion and came out of the laboratory. The owner was very surprised to discover a stranger in his shelter; he hadn't even had time to remove the remains of his victims. What he saw was enough for the stranger to draw conclusions; he drew his sword and menacingly began to approach
Rudyy. He tried to talk to him, explain everything, and come to an agreement, but the iron figure continued to advance, and
Rudyy couldn't stand it anymore. He tried to throw the potion at the enemy, but a lightning-fast swing of the sword interrupted this attempt, simply cutting off his arm. The scream that followed, similar to a wolf's howl, also abruptly stopped, and only a head rolling across the floor disturbed the silence. Not far from the dugout stood another figure, watching as the killer left the scene.
