I simply adore the Chronicles! It was with them that my acquaintance with such a masterpiece as Heroes began!
It happened in the summer of 2002. One of my friends had "Clash of Dragons" installed on her computer. She said that she couldn't pass one level (the level with the rusty dragons - naturally, at 9 years old, it's hard to figure out why your hero can revive and explode, and has more dragons - even if they are green, but he still loses. Although, everything was connected with basic skills))). At that time, the game didn't impress me - some kind of plane where you crawl... fly at a low altitude, some dragons, some idiots in white tights squeal when they are hit... and so on.
In general, in our city, these "Clash of Dragons" were somehow strangely popular - many of my acquaintances had them installed, although they didn't have the disc itself. It turns out that some programmer installed them for them (a fan, though!).
My sister, unlike me, was very impressed by these "Clash of Dragons" - she generally liked elves, unicorns, pegasuses, etc. She asked many people about them, but, as I already said, no one had the disc. CD-RW drives were rare at that time, and such a large game wouldn't fit on a floppy disk. In general, all this drove my sister to despair, but she was not going to give up. One weekend, she took 100 rubles and went to the electronics flea market and bought a disc with parts 1 and 2 from Buky for 70 rubles!
In general, we struggled with them - we couldn't pass the 3rd map in both campaigns.
Then, in a branded store, we bought parts 3 and 4. Elements and Dragons. We passed "Lords of the Elements" right away - it didn't cause any particular difficulties, but we got stuck on the damned fourth scenario in "Dragons".
We passed "Dragons" after "War of the Steppes", and then "Armageddon's Blade".
I got acquainted with "Uprising" and "Frozen Throne" a little later (they didn't impress me at all), and I'm not familiar with "Moon and Wood" at all... because I can't find where to download them.
In general, the Chronicles are like a favorite book, I play only for the sake of the plots-stories. There are many of them, and they are remarkably interesting!

1st place - War of the Steppes. Because it's fun and pleasant to read and play about the young and naive idealist Tarnum. And besides, there are barbarians!
2nd place - Clash of Dragons. The most romantic part! Forests, dragons, elves, Valita... oh... and the most interesting maps)
3rd place - (like in a sports competition) is shared between Lords of the Elements and Armageddon's Blade.

)) I completed all the Chronicles (from the first to the eighth) in 2 weeks, without cheats and on the highest difficulty. In the third game, the computer's AI is smarter, lol. The plot could have been better.

I can't complete the sixth mission in Elemental Guardians, "The Magic That Unites." It seems the objective is to gather creatures, but it doesn't specify which ones. The mission description says to find three magical elementals called "The Firsts." I've destroyed all the enemies on the map, and I have plenty of different creatures, but I don't know what to do next. Help! :D

There isn't a single part of the Chronicles that I wouldn't enjoy. The storyline is better than in the main Heroes games; we learn about Tarnum's past and his life. Plus, each part has different jokes (sometimes he throws a vase at his nephew Magnus, sometimes he saves the soul of the man who killed him). In my opinion, the Chronicles are worth playing just for this funny and tragic (as it turned out later in the fourth installment) storyline.

You need to visit all four tents located near the enemy cities (hopefully, you've captured them). Then, on the left, there's a passage guarded by black dragons. Go through this passage, and at the end, behind the portal, you'll find the magical elementals. Recruit them, and the mission will be completed.
