My rather dull and uninteresting school life (except for the changes) is made more enjoyable by chemistry and computer science competitions. I'm curious if there are other forum members who also participate in subject-specific Olympiads...

Personally, I participated and won Olympiads in English and chemistry:)

I've been getting first place in English and 1-3 in chemistry. I study at a specialized math and physics high school.

I only participated in the computer science competition.

I participated in many subject-specific Olympiads, almost in every subject of the school curriculum... But I only managed to win one (city-level, of course, we're not talking about school-level ones!) - in literature... My teacher was so happy for me back then! Ah... those were the days when we were young!!! :D

Hmm, that was a long time ago... I took about 10-12 first places (I didn't count the rest)... in math, physics, chemistry, history... in different grades...

2nd-3rd place in the city – Physics, Ukrainian Language, History, Algebra – that was my best year :) specifically 2006 :)

I'm a humanities person. When I was in school, my participation in science-related activities wasn't even considered. First and foremost, it was history, literature, and geography. Plus biology and economics! It was great.
Now I'm involved in scientific research. I attend all sorts of conferences...

I am participating.
And right now, I am participating in a regional Russian language Olympiad.

4th grade - mathematics.
6th or 7th grade (I don't remember exactly) - French language.

Mathematics, computer science, English, physics, chemistry, geography – all of this is now in the past, part of my school years, and at the polytechnic, engineering and descriptive geometry were added. Now, at best, there might be some kind of specialist competition.

I also participated in Olympiads... I competed in subjects such as physics, biology, geography, chemistry, drafting, and physical education... I didn't take last place, and sometimes even won first place...

Once, I participated in a city-wide history competition, took 1st place, and won a video player. This was when I was in 8th grade, and a video player was a huge deal back then. However, the principal confiscated it and put it in the history teacher's office, claiming it was the teacher's merit for teaching me. In the same year, I switched to a different school. Later, in 10th grade, I participated in a history competition again, but I only got an honorable 4th place. The certificate is still somewhere around. I also participated in an English competition sometime, but I didn't win anything. Oh, I remember, in 10th grade, I also participated in a law competition and took 2nd place in the city. Those are all my achievements.
