Posts from Project "GG - Voice of Heroes"
If you want, you can also write to me; I'll add my contact information to my profile now.
I couldn't find where to add my Skype in the profile, so here it is: LLIu3OXPEHHuK
P.S. I have a feeling that angry, lengthy replies from the thread starter are to be expected :D
And this thread was created to find one. And to publish and discuss ideas.
As for the long posts, let your caregiver change them:smile54:
Okay, okay – you just need a hardcore Heroes of Might and Magic fan, why are you picking on him? ;) Respect for keeping it concise :smile54:

And also, what can you offer the community that isn't available now?

Therefore, in this thread, we are waiting for suggestions and opinions from the public.
to kalababa: "We" refers to the team of "people" being formed and potentially interested parties, that is, the public/audience (since this is not being done for me, because I perfectly understand that it is practically impossible to make a financial profit from this).
Regarding the community – I mentioned that it seems to be split into two camps: modifying the current SoD and modifying the current WoG. I would like to organize an event that is as interesting as possible for both groups (and this will largely depend on the quality of the commentary, which is a priority for me). And I think this is a perfectly acceptable formulation.
Therefore, again, we are waiting for the community's opinion – what does the community need, and does it need anything at all?

Schism? I think everyone plays what they enjoy, and many play both. There are so many streams now that no one needs this paid content. The only possible option is what Tvarina did: he signed a partnership and runs ads. But it's worth mentioning his charisma; even when he's playing a fun game, and there's a stream of an important tournament going on at the same time, he still has more viewers. He keeps people watching until 5 a.m. with his charisma. Of course, it's always nice to watch skill improve. So, I doubt your idea will attract 1,000 viewers :yao: even if it's ATG versus Stinger, with Dirty's commentary. (No offense, these streams are for us, the connoisseurs. But most people can live without them.) There aren't that many hardcore Heroes of Might and Magic players; the majority of viewers are just ordinary people who don't need perfect micro or amazing turn management. They want fails and rage, a lively chat, etc. And all of this needs to be genuine, not forced or contrived. Tvarina, Amilu, Just, Psyche, sometimes Roma, and Sticky do this perfectly :peka:.
Golden words!
I can advise Merlin to stop theorizing and start doing SOMETHING himself. He can start small, "as an enthusiast," and then he'll see if it works for him, if he can somehow gain traction to earn a little from ads, etc.
I've seen posts from him before like, "I'm a great commentator, and I'd like to know how much my services could cost." But who needs you, excuse me? Start by monitoring the market: see what streamers of the most popular games are doing, talk to whoever you can, and half of your questions will be answered immediately, especially the question of whether it's possible to charge viewers.
In general, it's an amateurish attempt, nothing more.
I repeat: We are looking for a SoD player who is willing to spend their time co-hosting streams, a SoD player who will watch and comment not only on SoD games but also on Warlock Tournament games.
I would also appreciate any constructive suggestions: what aspects of the game should be emphasized in the streams/comments, which SoD players and which Warlock Tournament players the audience would like to see, etc.
I would also be grateful for any constructive suggestions: what aspects of the game should be emphasized in the streams/comments, which SoD and which VT players the audience would like to see, etc.
No need for fire and… well, you know! The chat will provide that.
P.S. And what is VT?
P.S. And what is VT? :-?
