While we have plenty of well-known players whose games attract an audience, finding commentators is much more challenging. To make it profitable through advertising, we need a large audience and a lot of views of that very annoying advertising. To make it profitable by charging a fee ("mandatory payment"), there are certain technical difficulties. And again, the question arises: how much are you, dear reader, willing to pay to watch a stream of well-known players with commentary from other players who more or less understand the essence of the game (and with "Living Legends of Heroes" invited to provide commentary, however pompous that may sound)? I repeat, how much do you think it could cost?:smile10: Now, the next and most important thing. I have a proposal to organize a series of trial streams. Such proposals have already been made, but they required a significant time commitment. Now, I have the time, desire, and determination to do this (especially since, according to rumors, some viewers have become interested in a couple of my trial streams). Also, we already have a technical organizer on the team - it will be LLIu3OXPEHHuK. He is also the person who has been equally interested in the development of SoD and WoG in recent years. I am currently a dedicated WoG player. And we need a third commentator who is a dedicated SoD player. Together, we can comment on streams of both WoG and SoD. We can discuss various aspects, advantages, and disadvantages of both versions (and the fact that the current SoD, with its modifications and rule changes, is indeed a VERSION of the classic game, as is WoG, is beyond doubt). Sometimes we will invite "guest stars" to the streams. But for now, since there is no definite financial basis, it will be on a voluntary basis. And I am addressing experienced SoD players with the question: are there any of you who would like to join this project as a passionate SoD commentator (and you will need a sufficient amount of free time for this)? :smile17: In the future, we will need another "SoD-WoG player," but right now, we definitely need a SoD player who is willing to watch and discuss WoG streams. Schism? I think everyone plays what they enjoy, and many play both. There are so many streams now that no one really cares about this paid content. The only possible option is what Tvarina did: he got a partnership and runs ads. He keeps people watching until 5 a.m. with his charisma. Of course, it's always nice to watch skill improve. I can advise Merlin to stop theorizing and start doing SOMETHING himself. He can start small, "as an enthusiast," and then he'll see if it works for him, if he can somehow gain traction to earn a little from ads, etc.

Give us statistics with analytics! If it's a joint stream, how many games have the opponents played/won/lost in the previous season, what is their personal score, what places have they taken in tournaments. In the form of a table, with avatars, so it looks nice! If it's a tournament match, then what are the features of the rules, why exactly this pair of Castles was chosen, why this template and what are its features. Draw psychological portraits of the opponents! And constantly analyze how each one is implementing their strategy! General news about the community: who is going to organize which tournaments and outdoor sessions, who from the community is going to participate, intrigues and details.
No need for fire and… well, you know! The chat will provide that.
