How does the "puppet master" role manifest itself? Can he control the Night Defender and the daytime voice of the puppet, or what? And is the puppet notified about the corruption?

So, if he's puppeteering a Mafia member, and in the final round, only the Mafia member, the Mafia puppet, and the Healer remain, is that considered a personal victory for the Healer, or how does it work?
