Kostyan, what about our game? Will you count it or not? I'm already confused.

Red took two with 111, I took 111 and we went.
Week 1
Ivor has 5 archers, a Necromancer in the tavern — that's good. Ciele gets a log house. There's Pira with a ballista. At the respawn, external dwelling of centaurs, 2 Dwarf Cottages, artifact +4 level 3. Scattered into 6 heroes. 112 — Ciele advances Necromancy, I start necromancing slowly.
End of week: Ciele with Necromancy skill, advanced Earth Magic, and 100 skeletons. At home, 1-7 in the Citadel + 1000.
Week 2 — Visited the stables with Ciele immediately. Scattered all heroes on griffin riders. Broke through 41 orc chieftains behind the portal to the Necromancer village. By day 125, necromanced at the Necromancer respawn. Found an external market. 2 small crypts. On day 126, broke through to the Inferno respawn, took a Pandora's Box with 14 trolls for 5k experience. On day 127, I break through to the swamp village +5 hoofs in the Pandora's Box, stay there overnight, having scattered Ciele and visited the well beforehand.
On day 131, army delivery, I break through 14 greater pits for another village, and there Cielka just stands idly on a single bird. I attack her, she runs, but nearby there's a scout hero with an army — the new week's growth hasn't been bought yet. I attack the scout hero.
Ciele: level 15, 5 5 9 6 (60), 49 grand elves, under 400 skeletons, 9 horses, 111 centaurs, has oil, expert Blessing. Red capitulates. Thanks for the game. I dedicate the victory to everyone who bet against me.

Yes, it turned out to be a strange game. 4 external dwellings of water elementals, Legs of Legion, 5 crypts, a medusa dwelling, a Dwarf Cottage, an external market, but somehow it all stretched out so much that they came and dismantled me. And don't worry, I'm sure no one bet on us.

A fun game it was)
m200, took 2 rests opp 1, fast roads
On the first, I grabbed 2 secondary heroes, was busy collecting resources, all even
On the second, any hero from the tavern was supposed to become the main one, but Pickerdam and Tunar showed up.......I chose a tactic and lots of money :D I break through to the zone without a castle, stood before a Pandora's Box for fairies. Next to a necro secondary town, which the opp garrisoned. Full trade, full buyback, resulting in 50 stone gargoyles and 140 capes with 13 golems and some small fry, but due to lack of time I only make a couple of moves GG and he speeds up on my golems...... In the end, Mephala, boosted on a fake (next to Tunar :D), takes the necro town, I think, now I'll break all the chains....but I traded skillfully after all)) in short, I got lucky, Gurnisson ran into the desert to seek fortune, I ran to his respawn, killing weaklings along the way. Within two days I was besieging the Rampart walls, behind which sat 36 dwarves, 24 Centaur Captains, 4 Pegasus Captains, and all sorts of other small units, destroying as many as I could with ranged attacks. I used every possible disposable unit, even the new growth on 131, many thanks to the opp for forgiving me :D But he paid me back in kind - his 2 air elementals from a scroll with SP 1 on the battlefield looked quite formidable) Then the opp spent a couple of days breaking through whatever he saw in the treasure zone and eventually conceded victory. I'll note Tunar's skills: Estates, Logistics, Pathfinding, Estates, Diplomacy and Attack ))
Oh yes, the reveal showed, attention 19(!) Dragon Fly Hives in the treasure zone and a bunch of various pleasant bonuses)

And seriously, I already wrote to Kostyan in a private message about how to improve the betting system:

• We buy participation for $5, which gives you 100 points for betting.
• You can bet as you like, but no less than 10 points per match.
• You can buy more credits at any time and in any quantity, always 100 points cost $5 (you can, for example, buy 1000 points at once for $50). Although, it should still be limited somehow, depending on the organizer's capabilities.
• You can skip rounds without betting on anyone.
• The one who earns the most points from betting wins (that is, earns, not just buys).
• And most importantly, there need to be odds, for example: in a match PlayerX - vs - PlayerY, the first has a coefficient of 1.3, the second has 1.6, and if you bet 10 points on the first and he wins, then you get 13 points. This is just an example; here, there will be an opportunity for a person who understands betting to show their skills. The bookmaker's profit should also be taken into account.
• Thus, the $50 prize announced by Kostyan will encourage people to contribute their $5 and make bets ( $5 is a very small amount, and I, for example, would calmly buy $10-15 at once).

Pros:

• Betting will become much more interesting.
• There is no need to place bets on every round to avoid being eliminated.
• The strength of the players will be taken into account, and not as it is now - choose the obvious favorite and bet.
• There will be a much greater incentive to buy more credits, because with the current rules, I don't really believe in buying more (for example, in the very first round, I am sure that most people will be eliminated - what is the point for them to buy more now if there are still 8 rounds of complete uncertainty ahead).

Cons (basically only for the organizer):

• More work.
• The need to provide winnings with their own real money.
• Potential match-fixing.

And, of course, you need to play not at 200% speed and in 4 minutes.

P.S. Perhaps later I will introduce a similar system in King of the Hill if I have time.
P.S.2. Of course, you need to understand what you are betting on, and for this, all players must first choose a template, color, and Castle, indicating this on the forum, after which bets are made, and only after that they play.

The main problem with your proposed method is match-fixing; either we need to organize a tournament "for our own," which is unrealistic, or we have to accept that the venture will always be in the red. Unfortunately, I've been registered on the forum for ages, and I don't recognize most of the players in this season. I can't guarantee that some of them (I apologize in advance, I'm not singling anyone out) will try to take advantage of a newcomer (KostyaN). No one can force people to only bet on "reliable" players. This tournament is good because it eliminates match-fixing – you'd have to negotiate with 6 players at once, and do that every round. Of course, there are many shortcomings, but that's why it's just a "version 1." If it works out, there will be BOB2, which will take all the mistakes of the first version into account, and maybe we can even implement some of your suggestions.
PS: There are only 6 rounds left, and whether to continue buying in or not is a personal decision for everyone. If there are no more buy-ins, it means the idea hasn't found support, and people don't want to risk their money. In that case, BOB will be considered a failure, the tournament winner will receive the promised $50, and there won't be a BOB2.
PPS: Regarding the statement that "no one will reach the final":D Anything is possible; betting is unpredictable. Sometimes you're on a winning streak and guess everything correctly, and sometimes even a 1.01 bet doesn't pay off. If everyone drops out and gets eliminated in the early stages, I'll come up with something, most likely a consolation prize or something else. Besides, the money doesn't disappear; it goes into BOB2, so... "Place your bets, gentlemen."
