The reason isn't very compelling – it's just a car from the previous stage of the tournament. But to some extent, it worked; I was still hoping for some concessions from my opponent, so I went for a risky move because I really needed the money, and I ended up with 8 grand, although I could have continued playing... But respect to Tvarine for not taking advantage of the information about the car request, and for jointly ending the suffering.

SMKa unfortunately turned out to be the only compromise. After a good 1st week, a mistake on 121 decided it, loss of concentration and I lose 22 Centaurs and 3 Grands for no reason. They weren't enough in the next battle at the Medusa dwelling, they killed a Unicorn and another 3 Grands. Those Grands weren't enough for the battle with the Hydra pit and the opponent. In the treasure zone I saw the opponent's Crag with 1=1=1=20+ ducks. No point in feeding them to the duckling pen, and I only had 5 Angels, 8 Unicorns and 13 Grands myself. I relied on the lack of mana and that there weren't many ducks - but the opponent was fine in that regard. 34 Wyverns for 124 is certainly a lot, plus everything was compactly placed + Boots under the town.

Fast roads were dealt, with Tazzar I immediately took the Scholar and they gave Scouting, fortunately Crag showed up + I got Tactics right away. On the 2nd day I took the Lookout Tower and a light deja vu happened. I reveal part of the opponent's respawn and there are exactly 2 Griffin Conservatories on the way, 2 experience stones, a Centaur external dwelling and Kyrre with 10+ Grands (turns out there was also a Unicorn external dwelling and another Griffin Conservatory), +2 speed behind Hydras, at least GO-Titans is blocked. It got sad here, but then I see on my own spawn 2 Wyvern external dwellings with cheap guard and 2 Hives + Boots. Let's play. I take the Wyvern dwellings, Boots, get a necro-secondary, at the start of week 2 I take 2 Hives - both mini( I find and take another Dragon Fly Hive on the adjacent zone - pre-mini. I see Kyrre taking the Griffin Conservatories. I run Crag to the treasure zone, take a mini-hive and a Pandora's Box with 15k gold. And here's the finale. And again deja vu. I have expert Air, but no Haste( Luckily the Wyverns under Crag solve it after all. Then we ran around a bit more and started the next game.

The 2nd one I played cleanly, maybe unjustifiably risked diving into the strong Griffin Conservatory, but lucky it wasn't max. From the tavern for a long time there was info that the opponent had no towns, I decided to take the Boots in the treasure zone and visit via GO. An uninvited guest is indeed worse than a Tatar) and on 126 we visit the capital, and on 127 at the opponent's country villa. The opponent surrenders.

I restarted into a vague surrender. It's playable I suppose, but very long roads and no tempo + I probably played poorly. From Javdet's side everything was much better and excellent execution left no chance.

Well the 3rd one is something - we hacked away almost until 7 am, my brain worked only reflexively, and the highlight were 3 finales.
The 1st one was still on 131, when Tazik revealed himself in the treasure zone. An equal trade, but they gave money for buying creatures and I run to the Conservatory under the town. Glad I didn't risk taking it on week 2, +4 Angels and go to the treasure zone. Dragon Utopias quickly gave control, I buy Earth magic in the last slot and see movements in the treasure zone. The advantage in meat was great, the opponent buys back with 7 Lizardmen but doesn't surrender. And here's the action - he appears on the same spot with garbage like Dwarves, and Javdet has no idea why. The surviving battle-dwarf after the initial onslaught could have resisted Armageddon, but I got lucky and both heroes die. The faggoty SoD lottery with digging in the folder:mad: :mad: :mad: But there are 4 minutes and 90k gold. We dig. Nothing. And in the last seconds Tazar appears in the tavern, I don't have time to buy him, and the deadline is 147:(
But Twaryna had fewer chances to dig - 6k gold and some resources, but anything can happen.
And the next day I see dear Kyrrushka in the tavern:) A few unclear moves, but then chains form to recapture towns and I get the long-awaited capitulation.

It's a shame the overall picture was spoiled by the feeling that there was at least a cow at stake.

We started without restarts. On spawn 2 Hives and a Griffin Conservatory - that's ofc not restarted. + there's an experience stone, a couple of stat boosters and a +4 Cap with a Well. Everything is fine, but the problem is money. Seriously - there was very little money, which ultimately affected (there wasn't enough money the whole game, believe it or not - I only built the Castle on week 3 or 4, let alone normal creature buying). With much difficulty I started collecting Hives from 122. First pre-max - excellent! But the second was mini + I lost a Dragon Fly while breaking the guard. Total army 14 Dragon Flies + Lizardmen. Tazzar was given Wisdom and Ballistics (though he had Logistics right away). How to take the Conservatory is unclear. Can't handle above 2... Next I broke through to a secondary Rampart. Another Conservatory there. I check the home one - 2. I take it. Then I take the second one too - also a 2. From the Lookout Tower I reveal the spawn. I see 2 treasure zones - one muddy, one underground. On the way to the underground there's a +1 speed necklace and a +1 all stats jacket. I head there. I enter the treasure zone and there's the first final battle. The fight was winnable there, I realize now. Cobra wrote how. But I lacked experience and wit again. + I could have picked up a Fire booster - then everything would have been even easier. In effect we trade and I buy back, saving 3 Angels + 7 Dragon Flies and 20+ Lizardmen. I go to the muddy treasure zone - a couple of tasty Pandora's Boxes are revealed there. I beat 20+ Cats and grab all of 4th level! + Earth magic was given! But only basic so far. Then I take more Pandora's Boxes for experience. I got Attack, Pathfinding, and Tactics. I see a Dragon Utopia, next to it KV + a Dragon Fly Hive guarded by 50+ Wyverns. I don't dare hit it, almost no mana. I have to portal back to replenish mana + learn Slow in the mage guild (since again the papal mage guilds in all castles give no Slow or Haste). I return to the treasure zone, take the Hive guarded by Djinns, the Hive + KV and a 2-Dragon Utopia. They gave +2 boots and a red orb, which is irrelevant here) Then Dimension Door to the +10 armor, +3 all stats necklace guarded by upgraded Minds, Town Portal home, library and I break through the portal to another treasure zone. The opponent was clearly there, but didn't eat everything. A turn later I return there + pulled up Dimer for scouting. I take the arena and reveal an untaken Dragon Utopia! In the end I lack 200 MP to take it and Kyrre covers it. All hope was on 2000 Armageddon. But there are 49 Dragon Flies. I try to cut them down with Chain Lightning somehow. In the end I lose the army, cut the Flies down to 22, Pegasi, Elves and 4 Angels also remain. I run back with the Dwarves, hoping for a miracle. And Kyrre makes a mistake - attacks. The battle is funny again. I have 3 stacks of 4 Dwarves + 1 +1 Fly and 7 Wood Elves. The Angels are split one each. An Angel without luck doesn't kill a Dwarf stack. But luck procs twice) But 2 Dwarves still survive. Armageddon! Everyone died... But Kyrre manages to buy himself back, Tazzar doesn't. Curtain.

To win the tournament in the super final match, the winner of the upper bracket needs to win 2 games, and the winner of the lower bracket needs to win 3 games.
In the super final, the time limit for each game is 2 weeks.

And in those six months, my view on "auto-picks in tournaments" has changed. I think anyone who has played with me will agree that I have never refused an auto-pick in fun games, and even in tournament matches, I used to do it until recently. But that's wrong. That's my opinion. And you yourself even described why it's wrong.

This is a clear example of why auto-picks are bad. You took a risk, with the thought in the back of your mind, "if things go wrong, I'll take an auto-pick, it's not a big deal." The risk didn't pay off. That's not right; you have to pay for taking risks. It's a different story with misclicks, etc. But when you consciously take a risk and lose, you have to pay for it.

Moreover, the issue of auto-picks has been resolved in what I think is the best way. But you still made sarcastic comments about me, like "thanks, Twaryna, for the auto-pick," etc.
