Posts from Stronghold – “Of Worms and Demons” [Campaign 6, Mission 4]
I defeated him in one turn; my hero has 90+ physical strength, and the goblin hunters (at the time of the battle, 1248 units) dealt almost 20,000 HP with a critical hit :D :D :D
The Boss Worm didn't impress me at all :smile19:

Where can I find the Demon Lord (it's a side quest) - I've only found one of his cities, even though this is my second playthrough - I don't remember the map at all.
I've captured the Demon Forts on the islands.
Where else are the demons hiding? How many cities do they have in total?

Never mind, I found him and sliced up the worm.
83 Cyclops, what a joke!
I have a feeling that this is the only mission I'll have to replay.
Clearly state the problem. For example, Warrior, Tears. 4th month, army is like this, upgrades are like this. Attacks, enemy hero - has and leaves.
I completed this mission with a Blood Mage. The only problems were with the crystals; I closed all the portals.
I had no problems with the computer! Tactics: 1st turn - summon Fire Elementals, 2nd turn - general Resurrection - if the opponent is a mage and attacks in an area, but if he's a warrior, then Resurrection on one of my units that he's attacking. Cyclops under the mage - with a beam, they burn everything that moves.
I don't know where your problem is. I always play on "Hard".
The Demonic Worm is not a problem at all!! Moreover, I earned the "Caesarean Section" achievement on it. I even waited a few turns for it to swallow someone)))
So, Sensi and Faj - who are you playing as? Mage/Warrior? Tears/Blood?
Okay, Sensi and Faj – what heroes are you playing? Mage/Warrior? Tears/Blood?
Now I'll check what's happening with the time in the game. I've already built and upgraded Cyclops. I closed one portal, and three are already open... I only have one Castle so far. I feel like I made a mistake by bringing Akamas back from the seas. His army didn't really help me, although who knows.
It's the 2nd month, 4th week, 1st day. The most destructive enemy, causing losses to my army, turned out to be Tainar; he's currently level 24, and Sandor is level 25. The red cockroach is running around my territory, constantly taking the Fortress near the shipyard. I attack him – he wipes out part of my army. The red faction places portals – Malik and Daleb; I've already defeated Malik twice without any losses.

By this time, you should have at least two Castles...
You are capturing territory very slowly.
I went down to the worm's lair at the beginning of the fourth month, after clearing everything, and I still thought I had wasted a lot of time searching for Crow Island and running around bonus buildings.
Close the portals; don't be stingy with crystals. You can buy them on the market at the end of the game when you have cleared everything.
My tactic on this map. I'm playing on Hard difficulty. Sandor, Warrior of the Fallen.
I give the Centaurs and Harpies to Airini, and all the rest to Sandor. I send them in different directions to capture everything they can handle, and it turns out that almost everything is within their capabilities. The main thing is to advance without losses, with minimal losses (5-10 Goblins, Crusher) after encountering enemy mages.
I quickly capture a second Castle (sometime in the beginning of the 3rd week). At the beginning of the second month, I capture a third.
Battle for Airini against a mage.
First turn: Earth Elementals (defend throughout the battle) to the enemy archers, and Centaurs and Harpies bombard the enemy.
For Sandor:
Reinforcements to the Jaguars, command to wait, Goblins and Cyclops bombard (if they are already available), Dreamcatchers cast Cloud (or something like "Heaven and Earth"), when the enemies retreat, the Jaguars rush into the crowd, trying to engage as many enemies as possible.
All battles with neutrals should be without losses.
Don't forget to use teleports to the Castle, from the Castle to the Castle, and from the Castle to the Fort.
Probably more of a warrior than a mage, although I use both reinforcement with counterattack and weakening with regeneration! I'm developing him to the fullest.
You're developing him towards Blood?? Hmm... by the 4th mission, you should have already fully become a blood tyrant! But still, for a warrior, Tears are better! A MAGE, definitely, BLOOD!

Airini is a mage in battle.
First turn: Earth Elementals (the entire battle in defense) to the enemy archers, and Centaurs and Harpies bombard the enemy.
For Sandor:
Reinforcement on the Jaguars, command to wait, goblins and Cyclops bombard (if they are already there), Dreamcatchers cast a cloud (it's called Sky and Earth or something), when the enemies move back, we rush in with the Jaguars, trying to engage as many enemies as possible.
Sometimes, if the enemy army is strong, I use Reinforcement on the Jaguars. But then they won't attack first.
Honestly, I think they're the coolest units in the game.

Here, I described my tactics for fighting with them.
