I recently found out that a relatively new player, Heroin, was banned for cheating last summer. Can you tell me how this cheating was detected? I've played against him several times, and every time I press F2, his game crashes. I thought he was using some kind of cheat, but then, when we started playing again, I pressed F2 immediately, and his game crashed again. Maybe it's just a bug in the HD mod?

Can you tell me how this manifested?

Tolk just saw this thread! What a clown, you amused me with Heroes, it's clear that out of 8 games he hasn't won a single one and he's starting to not like it). Back then, for some reason, they dragged maphack into it. But on HeroesWorld I've noticed it's often brought up.
P.S. For myself, I'll say I never used a maphack. I don't use one now, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
