why not SoD? for the same reason. We're speeding up the game. For those not in the know, a 2v2 match at best lasts about 6 hours, and on average stretches to a full 12, I don't think many players can afford that much time.

Also, based on the experience of past tournaments, none of these aspects spoil the game at all; instead of classic matches, we get a mega-driven game with ГО breakthroughs on 1 and skirmishes in the center, plus team moves, which is what it's all about.

As for the choice of towns, we thought about it for a long time and arrived at this original model) I even considered a more radical option, but for now we decided to organize without fanaticism :D this issue, by the way, is open - make suggestions)

The timer is great! But there are doubts whether the server can handle a connection for 4 players, as there have often been complaints that it couldn't even connect 3 players...

I'm answering the question of why it's 1800+300.
1800 seconds = 30 minutes. 300 seconds = 5 minutes. If we take the game duration up to 131 (15 in-game days, calculated maximum time), 5*15=75+30=105 minutes. If we multiply by four, we get 420 minutes or 7 hours. 7 hours per game is more than enough. You can play it in one go (maximum two). That’s firstly.
Secondly, gathering four players at the same time is not an easy task, and doing it several times is almost impossible.
Thirdly, waiting for your turn will take three times longer than playing 1 on 1.
Fourthly, increasing the time per turn drastically increases the game length and consequently can significantly prolong the tournament. I don't like playing in a rush myself, but in this tournament, there's no other way. I hope you understand.

For the same reason, the WT version was chosen. Starting armies, battle time, and fast battles. Don't worry; by default, the settings will be MAXIMALLY ADJUSTED FOR SoD

Lol, let those who want to play at 4K+500 FPS play a game against each other as a test. I'm 90% sure that even if they start, they won't finish the game.

Perhaps it could be changed to 1000+400; this would allow for slightly better combat performance.
