To accept someone who "doesn't mind fixing bugs, theoretically even all of them" as a champion of the purity of the sacred SoD – that's quite a feat :D
The idea was completely different; maybe I just explained it too briefly.

The Hydro-bug should be kept and considered a feature. After all, the player takes a big risk — if the Dragon Fly Hive is on max and the computer can't handle it, then the Hydra can't be saved manually anymore.
And whose problem is it that the player didn't want to spend 200 MP to check the count?
I'm for fixing bugs; the algorithm for conducting such battles has been posted on DF2, I'll try to post it tomorrow. It will naturally include code, but with a description so that it's clear what's what. The main point is that the snakes simply didn't fly away from the hydra on quick combat, but, admittedly, that's not entirely accurate, but for those to whom code (let alone pseudocode) is foreign — it will suffice. Same story with flyers.
And whose problem is it that the player didn't want to spend 200 MP to check the quantity?
To distinguish a max from a pre-max, you need to send a scout hero into a Dragon Fly Hive. And how this bug works has been known for a long time and has already been described on HeroesWorld.
I remembered about the soda, by the way, that's what pure Soda is. Nothing more.
So, you just picked on the word "pure," which didn't affect the meaning of the argument (the bugs are the same, whether with rules or without)? Well, that's a sure sign that the discussion has reached a dead end :D

But why is it their problem if the player doesn't want to spend 200 mana to check the number?
I'm all for fixing bugs. On DF2, I posted an algorithm for handling such battles; I'll try to post it tomorrow. It will naturally include code, but with descriptions so it's clear what's what. The main point is that the snakes simply didn't move away from the hydra during a quick attack, but, to be fair, it's not entirely accurate, but for those who are unfamiliar with code (especially pseudocode), it's quite sufficient. The same story with the flyers.
Either they didn't analyze it properly, or they didn't read what they posted carefully. AlexSPL, I think, posted a log of the hydra's quick attack in Ulitka somewhere, and the bug, as I remember, was that the hydra attacked all the flies regardless of whether they were nearby or had flown to a corner: it hits one stack, but all of them take damage.
So you just nitpicked the word "pure," which didn't affect the argument's meaning at all (the bugs are the same, whether with rules or without)? Well, that's a sure sign the discussion has reached a dead end :D
Apparently, it's you who's reached a dead end :D Because I'm talking about this lightly, without the attitude of going to war. And it's not a duel for me, nor a personal squabble where someone is trying to prove something to someone else (slinging mud).
But a discussion of a relevant topic.
Let me remind you
1. There's the third version of the mod with a self-sufficient quick battle (one that doesn't ask the opponent if it can be used) 2. There's the latest version of the mod, but quick battle is only by agreement, between the third versions
A lot of people play the first version. Because it SAVES TIME That's the most important thing!!!
In the second version, you can save time only by playing mutually.
I'm simply suggesting: Add a replayable auto-battle to the mod so that everyone can use it, not just bug abusers who value their time. And who are forced to play this version only to save time.
At the same time, a bug-free quick battle should be added. Because losses in quick battle should not be less than what they could be in manual combat. This should include battles with fairies (magic casts) and ghosts (mana drain).
That is, if you can't fight better manually, then quick battle shouldn't do that either. This will be compensation for those people who don't have the mod at all. Fair?
Those who don't like the introduction of such a quick battle (bug-free) can just play manual combat.
And everyone will be comfortable.
Now let's see who might not like this? And it's obvious who — bug abusers. Those who are used to scouting enemy towns, who are used to using hydra bugs, but TE/HotA taught them otherwise (town scouting), but they haven't been taught to avoid auto-battle hydra bugs even in SoD. Since what is impossible and time-consuming to track is also impossible to ban. And some even consider it "popery" — bullshit!!
And they will say, we stand for SoD! for inviolability, integrity, and holiness! (they shouted :D )
I want everyone to be on equal footing. So that if I use quick battle (considering that I can replay it), it should be bug-free.
/now about SoD. "pure SoD" is perceived by many people in their own way, far from pure SoD, viewing it through the lens of HeroesWorld rules, that's why I reminded those who think so that this is not the case. Maybe someone will think about it. Although I also thought about not writing it, so as not to distract attention and cause confusion by lumping everything together. As you can see, I was wrong :D Forget about SoD then, let it not confuse you/
Essentially, what's needed is - Add an enabled option for replayable quick combat. What's the problem?
All this demagoguery, noise, bureaucracy, sophistry, and stupidity, just like in real life.

Leader. I was yelling for SOD :)
But until you brought up the topic of quick battles, I didn't even know that HD mode had such a thing :)
Now I want that version for myself, 3.05 or something? - I went to the Baratocha website - it's not there, I even tried to hack that website - it's not there :(
I guess I'll have to go to his computer if no one shares it :)
Quick battles should be there; they really just save time - bugs with hydras or fairy dragons are rarely used; I'm for the fact that they don't interfere and should be there.
In general, I like the HD mod now; there are fewer crashes, and it's convenient.
Дипломатия - искусство говорить собаке "хорошая собачка" до тех пор пока не найдешь подходящую палку.
And the demagoguery, and they, the bureaucracy, the sophistry, the nonsense, just like in life.
Are you accusing me of this? Maybe you could give an example?
It seems to me that you are constantly attributing either to me or to some imaginary opponents, either a love of bugs and a dependence on them, or a worship of sodomy, or some other nonsense.
I said that Quick is better in the General access when it was just released in the mod. It would be nice, of course, to switch everyone to a bug-free version, but that's just a dream, and in reality, people play with the old version and don't bother, and they express themselves in this way. The result of idealistic dreams about universal gaming fairness is that "conscientious" users of the mod (which I also consider myself to be) in fact do not use a number of really useful features that have existed for months. I could have already saved several hours of my own and others' time with Quick. Instead, you suggest waiting for universal awareness. I am against it. This is my opinion. It differs from yours. This is a dead end.

Are you lecturing me? Maybe you could give an example?
It seems to me that you constantly attribute either to me or to some imaginary opponents, either a love for bugs and a dependence on them, or a worship of glitches, or some other nonsense.
No. Not to you. This is a "prophecy" about how it will all end. As it usually does. Medium_HP

Does this mean that you are using the latest version? Medium_HP

Against what? What kind of awareness? What are you talking about in general?
I want there to be a replayable, bug-free Quick Battles mode. So that it exists and works, whether in single-player or multiplayer, with any settings. This is the simplest way to put it in three words. That's all!
