Part Three

After Mona's execution, passions subsided somewhat. It seemed that the King was about to restore order in his court, but after the events of the night, the nobles were stunned. To say that Duke of Norfolk was killed is an understatement. His body was found in a circle outlined with salt, forming a pentagram. First, the duke was beaten severely with a whip, then his heart was cut out of his chest, doused with strong tincture, and burned in a ritual bowl.
Perhaps it was the sight that made Catherine, the King's legitimate wife, feel unwell. She was a devout woman, and what she saw certainly shocked her.

Nephela I have an idea. Let's not hang anyone. Let the murderer kill Humer with a bloody murder.
